My wife and I stayed in Alice's apartment for 6 nights on our first trip to Paris. It was our first time using AirBNB and also Alice's first time as an AirBNB host, and I must say Alice did an all round excellent job at accommodating us! She is an excellent communicator, well spoken in English, and went to alot of effort to prepare the apartment for our stay which made the whole experience feel very professional. Being her first time there was some slight teething issues but Alice was extremely quick to have them sorted out for us. The apartment is very conveniently located just off Avenue Georges Mandel, which leads right into the heart of Trocadero and is only 10 min by walking or 2 min in a taxi, and you are right there at the Eiffel tower and Trocadero fountains. Locally, you have an excellent patisserie/bakery which we bought freshly made baguette rolls and salads for packed lunch each day (to save money), as well as supermarkets, subway, cafe/pub, just about everything you need. We found the location to be an excellent position for seeing all the highlights of Paris, being 15 min walk from Arc De Triomph and Champs De Elysee. The apartment was very clean and tidy and well presented, and even though small was excellent value for money. You even have a nice view of the Eiffel tower to the right of the bedroom window. It would suit a single or couples quite comfortably. Alice also made up a nice booklet with some handy hints and tips and left us some helpful books about Paris in the room. Alice was also very helpful with any and all questions we asked about our trip, including train & bus directions and mobile phone services. The apartment is located 6 flights of stairs up with no elevator so be prepared for lifting the luggage up! Was easy enough for us young couple but some may struggle with that. Overall we would highly recommend staying with Alice as she is a great host and the apartment is a fantastic choice for the money & location for a visit to Paris. Hayden & Jess Perth, Australia
