In a busy little French town, a stones throw from the Centre Ville and the Sunday and Thursday markets, this character space provides a haven for travelers looking for a restful base, fully equipped and on the doorstep of shopping, restaurants and the twice weekly markets.
The studio brings together modern amenity with an old space and features, providing a great setting for exploring L'Isle Sur La Sorgue and other local villages, Vaucluse and Provence.
The studio has been decorated with a mix of old and new furnishings, so it is very comfortable to relax in and to return to each day. Thick old walls and shutters ensure the summer heat is kept at bay and heaters provide a cozy warmth in cooler months.
The accommodation is completely self contained on the ground floor of a four story building with fully equipped kitchen and separate bathroom/toilet and laundry with clothes washer and dryer.

We don't live on the property but we have a local manager, who will confirm access arrangements with you before arrival and is available if there any problems that you need help with. There is information at the studio to help make your stay a wonderful memory. We also recommend a visit to the information centre beside the cathedral in the main square, to obtain the latest information on activities and sightseeing that you may be interested in.
There are markets on Thursdays and Sundays throughout the year, with the Sunday market being famous for it's antiques and brocante, with stalls across most of the old town streets and along the river. The town itself has many antique stores, restaurants, laneways and history to explore and along with the surrounding countryside, has everything you need for an interesting and relaxing holiday.
The antique and brocante shops are generally open from Thurs - Sun/Mon inclusive. Restaurants and other shops are open regular hours, including Sunday morning. Some will close for Mon/Tues. The local area has too many lovely towns to visit in a short time and there are plenty of outdoor activities including, golf, swimming, cycling, canoeing and hiking to keep the most active person entertained!
Un giro nei dintorni
There are train and bus services to/from the town, but if you have a vehicle there is free parking available. The trains run to Avignon and Marseille and the buses seem to go everywhere. A tourist van can be booked at the tourist information centre and taxis and bike hire companies operate in the town.
Parking is free throughout the town - a little patience in waiting for a park and sometimes a 3 or 4 minute walk to the apartment is necessary. It is possible to double park close to the apartment to load and unload bags etc. On Thursday and Sunday mornings, when the market is on, parking is generally at a premium of course.
Altre cose da evidenziare
The village has good train and bus access but if you have a vehicle for exploring Provence there is public parking in the adjacent square and surrounding streets. As the village has a busy market on Thursday and Sunday, parking can sometime be at a premium; but generally something is available not too far away.
The studio is in an "Impasse" used by the adjoining apartments. We kindly request guests ensure they do not disturb the peace and quiet of this residential neighbourhood. We enjoy taking the table into the laneway to eat and this is both delightful and acceptable, assuming voices are kept to a low level. The studio is strictly non-smoking and we ask guests not to smoke in the Impasse either as the smoke drifts up to the residences above.
