2 full bathrooms
Pool with spa - pool is warmer during the summer

Accesso ospiti

All utilities are included and free WIFI.

Why would someone say light cooking? Home prepped meals really warms up the house and it's encouraged.

Interazione con gli ospiti

It's a house full of people & different schedules. So please use ear plugs if necessary. If you're a light sleeper or can't sleep on a single mattress, this may not be the right place for you.

We are a very communal/respectful group and strive to provide space for everyone to work and hangout. Remember that work, musical instruments and books take precedence over the television.

A home away from home. That's what Vic's HackerHome was for me. A month ago, I wound up in the Silicon Valley in desperate need of a bed and a roof over my head and in some miraculuos turn of events I wound up here. Vic's place is always on. Weather its in the living room, the kitchen, the back yard - there's always something going on and someone new to meet. The the laundries free, the kitchen's always stocked, and the bathroom's never busy when you need it. I lived here for a month and I could absolutely see myself coming back. I would recommend it to anybody.

Staying at Vic's HackerHome was an awesome experience for me. Met some really bright and super friendly people. I am definitely staying at one of his HackerHomes again during my next visit to the bay area!

Vic is a really nice helpful individual and a great host. Made the whole process of booking last minute smooth, helped with suggestions to go around and local chores. Although he handles numerous other listings, he does pay attention to each and every individual and goes out of his way to help! Felt welcome to be a part of the group, made some lifelong amazing and smart friends that are part of this group. Will definitely stay here again next time in the area!

tl;dr: we came for 10 days and finally decided to stay for 6 months ;) The house is great and the people (and rabbits) in it are even more, Vic is always pleased to help us with anything. It's also a great occasion to meet a lot of people and make friends, on our first evening there we were already having a BBQ at the Mountain View hackerhome and since then we've also partied at several other places from that network. The original plan was to stay there for 10 days and then move to an apartment but after a few days we didn't want to leave anymore ;) 100% approved!

I could write so many great things about my time at the Hackerhome but due to the restricted number of words I will just mention the most important points for me. First of all the Hackerhome-Community which is more like a big family spread over the 11 Hackerhomes in the whole bay area. From the first day on I have been a part of this great network and have been invited to many community events (many BBQ-Partys) at all these different Hackerhomes. This is a nice possibility to meet people from all over the world and many different companies (especially startups). About the Santa Clara Hackerhome in special I want to say: Yes I like the pool and the hot tub :-D But moreover I also really like the nice atmosphere and the people over there! We had great pool-partys, dinners and workouts. Thank you Vic for this amazing 3 months!

Where do I even begin, first of all im almost sad that I find a room to rent because I loved staying at the Santa Clara hacker house with Vic and all of our lovely housemates :) The room was cute and the bed was comfy, I could not get enough of the Roman bath and even took a dip into the hot tub. The house is comfortable, charming, and super hip with bunnies hopping around. I would recommend this to anyone coming to stay in the area. The other hacker houses I checked out in the network were cool too but Santa Clara house has the most charm and class in my opinion. Especially since Vic's super amazing girlfriend Sara cooked scrumptious meals and baked a lot so there were goodies to enjoy on top of wonderful conversation. I loved my stay!!!!
