I live in Brooklyn and sometimes come up on the weekends. When I'm there I stay in the other apartment located within the building.
I love the tranquility of the neighborhood and the fact that I have such great neighbors who lead very interesting and full lives. I get my eggs from my friend Jim who raises chickens. The Breezy Hill Farm is right down the road with all varieties of apples and cider. The local store, Schultzville is run by an amazing couple, Linda and Gary, who treat you like family.....And the boys Jack and Dalton are some of the most amazing and engaging little helpers you'll ever meet.
Un giro nei dintorni
You will definitely need a car to get around but getting to Rhinebeck by train is fairly simple. The stop on Amtrak is the Rhinecliff Station although you can rent a car in Poughkeepsie and Enterprise will send someone to pick you up at the Metro North Station. We are twenty minutes away from that stop.

Guests are expected to treat their place as their home and leave the place as they found it with the exception of the housecleaning chores. We will of course do that.

One of the things I enjoy the most is meeting people.. When I am not working as an attorney I spend a lot of my time cooking, baking and feeding people. I'm originally from New Orleans, the mecca of hospitality...Down there people have a way of welcoming strangers into their homes and feeling that it's their fault if the person doesn''t have a great time. I love my Clinton Hill neighborhood because in alot of ways people's attitudes about what is important mirrors that of my native hometown. LAISSEZ LE BON TEMPS ROULEZ. And may God help you, if you don't understand.
