Private 20 qm bedroom in quiet street in the middle of Vienna’s popular & hip 6th district. Central location and great connections. Walkable distances. Super comfy French-size mattress. Fantastic morning light. Safe & clean environment. Gay-friendly.
96m2 apartment, one of four units in a beautifully renovated Viennese house, built in the early 1900 period and located in the young & hip neighborhood of Vienna’s 6th district. The house is tucked away from the main street in an idyllic corner of a small quiet side street lined with trees. We call it a “little Tuscany” at our doorstep in summer time.
The apartment is atmospheric with flooding light giving views onto our little street and two back yards and it sports a modern fully-equipped kitchen, a clean and spacious bathroom with both bathtub and shower. It is lovingly furnished and with timeless design classics, vintage, white space and photography and other contemporary art on the walls. The original fishbone hardwood floor has been preserved.
We are renting out one room. It is our home office which doubles as a guest room and fits 2 people. The room is sun-lit and friendly, with fantastic morning light from two large double windows and is separated from the rest of the apartment. It can be accessed from the entrance hallway or from the living room through a swing door, both lockable. Our bedroom is on the other end of the hallway, so you will have your privacy.
You sleep on a super comfy 24 cm thick French-size mattress (200x140 cm), which will never want to get out of, but due to the width of the bed you should be either very good friends or a couple. No worries, each of you will have your own blanket. :)
There is plenty of space to place luggage, but unfortunately there is no closet to properly stow stuff. But we do have a storage room in which you can hang coats and keep additional luggage, if needed.
As a guest you are invited to use the common rooms with us with respect and within reason, including the living room (TV, BluRay), kitchen (fridge, stove, oven), home office (desk, printing within reason, wireless internet), and needless to say bathroom and toilet.
Interazione con gli ospiti
As we both are self-employed and work flexibly we will be at home on and off during the day. But we have an office space away from home which we can use, so we don’t have to enter our home office (sorry, we mean: your room!) during your stay.
Both of us will are available on our mobiles should you have any questions. We will be happy to give you suggestions and ideas for the city to make the most out of your stay.

Hi we are Michael and Florian, a couple who lives in Mariahilf, a popular district where the young and creative scene meets.
We are both from Southern Germany, and have lived in different places including Berlin, Budapest, Hamburg, Paris, London and San Francisco before moving to Vienna 6 years ago. Our passion for contemporary art let us pursue a start-up venture in the cultural sector, called Collectors Agenda.
We love Vienna for its moderate pace of life whilst being able to enjoy all the advantages of the cultural offer and vibrant social life which is typical of a capital.
