Light and breezy, beautifully renovated apartment with ocean views. Walk just 100 metres and you're in the surf - it's so close. Swim safely with lifeguard patrolled beach. Stroll to Tedder Avenue with great shopping, cafes, bars & restaurants.

High ceilings, polished concrete floors and sash windows looking over the ocean give the apartment light, breeze and a sense of being permanently on holidays.

A fully equipped kitchen, ready for the deftest of cooking hands is at your disposal. A Saeco coffee machine and all of the appliances you will need are here. The kitchen and living area are very open plan, and provide a great space to hang out, relaxing over coffee, a meal or a glass of wine. The living room has a 2.5 seater couch, breakfast bar with 2 high stools, dining table with 4 chairs and extra bean bag seating. There is also a day bed looking directly onto the ocean - the perfect place to gaze at the ocean or curl up with a book.

The very spacious master bedroom has a Queen bed and built in robes. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and built in hanging cupboards. Both have very effective ceiling fans and sash windows with ocean views, so they are the perfect place to fall asleep, even on the hottest days.

Stunning bathroom with floor to ceiling tiles, modern glass panel shower and floating hand basin. Fresh linen, bath and beach towels provided. Washing machine and laundry sink in the bathroom.

Secure, locked building with free access to one under cover, remote control car park and free on street parking. You will have access to all of the apartment and it's facilities, including the pool.

I live in Melbourne and am back on the Gold Coast periodically. If I am not here, one of my parents (Joan or Terry), will meet you to show you around and answer any questions you might have. I am always available over the phone during your stay for questions or emergencies, as are Joan and Terry.

Situated at the northern end of the Gold Coast, Main Beach was so named as it was the main surf beach to the town of Southport.

A highlight of a visit here is to the beach itself, where the old bathing pavilion has been reincarnated as a casual beach café complete with chikko rolls, potato scallops, pineapple fritters and fish and chips. The old male and female change pavilions are still here and there's loads of retro photos to remind you of the Main Beach of old. This bathing pavilion sits next to the Southport Surf Club, the first to make its mark on the Gold Coast in 1936 and right next to a stunning shady park which is perfect for oceanfront picnics.

Away from the beach - popular with surfers due to its open shore break - head down to Tedder Avenue. Locals hang out here in this strip of modern cafes, exclusive restaurants, bars and boutiques. For more shopping and style, take a wander towards the Southport Spit – or simply The Spit - to locals.

Dine in one of the multitude of restaurants on the Gold Coast. Tedder Avenue and Marina Mirage are within walking distance and have a wide variety and style of restaurants ranging from al fresco Italian, delicious Japanese, to the freshest locally caught seafood.

If you're up early check out the Gold Coast Fisherman's Coop for fresh seafood. The coop consists of floating pontoons, which enables buyers to access the vessels direct to purchase fresh seafood, at extremely affordable prices.
All product sold is caught directly by the vessels. They are open from 7.00 a.m. until sold out, making mornings a preferred time to visit them.

There are a number of major events held on the Gold Coast throughout the year.
Summafieldayze & Big Day Out
The Magic Millions Carnival
The Gold Coast 600
The Sanctuary Cove Boat Show

The Gold Coast is home to the best and most well known theme parks in Australia, from water parks to the Australian Outback Spectacular.
Seaworld, Movie World & Wet 'n' Wild, Dreamworld & White Water World.

50 minutes from Gold Coast Airport
60 minutes from Brisbane Airport
5 minutes to the local tram that can transport you all over the Gold Coast. The light rail tram stop is approximately 200 metres from the front door.

Public transport is simple. There is a bus stop on the corner of the street, less than 20 metres walk from the apartment.

A taxi rank is located steps away just off Tedder Ave, and Uber operates in the area with pickups generally less than 3 minutes away.

Minimum 3 night booking over school holidays & December/ January.

36 yr old female. Live in Melbourne, Australia. Medical profession. Keen surfer and cyclist. Love a good glass of red wine, good food, dinner with friends (and travelling when time allows). Pretty relaxed and easy going. I'm also a home owner, so understand the importance of respecting other people's space - with that comes being clean & tidy!
