Studio apartment for rent in one of Brooklyn's hottest neighborhoods: Fort Greene / Clinton Hill.

The studio is located in a quiet four-story building on the third floor overlooking the street. The entire building was recently renovated and restored to 10 individual condos.

The apartment can comfortably sleep 2 people in two full-sized beds (one is a futon).

The apartment is equipped with all the comforts you might desire. You won't feel like you are staying in another person's 'space'. It's immaculately clean, efficiently designed, and functional. It has a washer/dryer, dishwasher, full bathroom, all cooking utensils. Utilities and fast wifi included.

As a fellow Air BnB Traveler I know how important it is for the advertisement to be accurate, for internet to be working, and to have someone who can assist you as needed. My commitment to you is that everything is as stated!

The building is located one block from the "C" subway line with easy transfers to other lines. Downtown Manhattan is a 20-minute ride, and mid town is 25-30 minutes. The building is about a 30-40 minute cab ride to the airport, or an hour on the "A" train which one subway transfer or two stops away.

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is booming with all kinds of new cafes and restaurants, most of which are local or organic. It's a foodie's paradise. Immediately within a block of the building is the post office, a laundry, pharmacy, nail salon, two organic grocers, two delicious gourmet coffee and pastry cafes, a great blues and jazz live music venue, a very friendly neighborhood bar, and several ethnic restaurants. Storage units are also available on the next block over (in case you are moving to the area).

For Fun:
Real Brooklynites have a golden rule: "Never go above 14th street in Manhattan unless you must". And why would you when Brooklyn has so much to offer?

Prospect Park and Fort Greene Park are an easy 15-20 minute walk in opposite directions. Visit either the Fort Green or Park Slope Farmers Markets on the weekends for live music and tons of fresh food. The Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Garden are an easy 30 minute walk. Prospect Heights, Fort Greene, and downtown Brooklyn are just blocks away. BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) is a 20-minute walk with live musical and dance performers from all over the world nightly. BAM also houses a movie theatre with fantastic major and independent films. Brooklyn is the place to be for local live music with plenty of venues in Park Slope, Williamsburg, and Fort Greene.

Details, details:
The studio has been thoughtfully outfitted with everything that you could possibly need including:

We spent 12 days at Dana's place. 4 people. And it has been a fantastic esperience! A beautiful and cozy studio full of light. The place has got any kind of comfort. All is brand new and both the beds are comfortable. The place is quiet and clean. We felt safe and "at home sweet…

I stayed at Dana's place for 3 months so my experience was a tad different. I'll be listing the pros and cons. Pros: beautiful studio, comfy, comfortable bed and pillows, room darkening shades, grocery store right across the street, C train 3 min walk, bus stop right in front o…

Thank you for such a nice and balanced review Deepal. It is appreciated and I'm glad that you enjoyed the neighborhood! You raise some important points that I want to address for future guests: The building is a small, extremely quiet, and a private building. There is no building manager on site. This guest hoped for immediate attention for a non emergency maintenance issue. It required an outside professional. Being NYC, the company was only available 9-5 Monday-Saturday. The guest found this inconvenient and refused to allow access. Despite that, within 4 business days we arranged for a maintenance person to come after 6pm at night to accommodate her schedule so that she was on site. The problem was immediately resolved. Future guests should note that I will require the renter to be on site for any and all maintenance, even if I were able to be there. I'm concerned by liability issues. For your own peace of mind and the safety of your possessions I think it's good sense to make yourself available should anyone need access to the apartment (including me!) during your stay. If you don't agree, then this isn't a good rental for you. With that said, this guest is the only one that required a handyman, as you can see from the other reviews. The building and apt. are kept in very good condition for a NYC property and you should not anticipate problems. I do the very best that I can! Thank you!

Experiences in this apartment: We don't recommend this place for several reasons, in the first place the terrible management of the owner, the total lack of cleanliness of the apartment and above all this, her absolute lack of interest in problems caused by her awful management. …

Well, this could be true, or the other 56 reviews could be true. In reality this individual damaged my home, took photos, and tried to receive a refund after she had stayed at my place the entirety of her reservation. Luckily air bnb US did a great job handling the situation. Air BNB community, please be advised of individuals such as this in our midst! I can't remove this post, nor would I, because it's important that other hosts be able to identify this individual in order to protect themselves. Despite this one bad apple, I remain excited about being part of the air bnb community and look forward to meeting more of you.

Dana's place was like home away from home for me while in NYC, and it's even better in person than in photos. The easy walk to the C train made for an easy commute to and from work, and it's an easy walk to some great local spots in Brooklyn. Dana has taken great care in making h…

We had an overall good experience here. The apartment is located in a busy and safe area of Brooklyn very close to the subway, grocery store and a nice coffee shop. The only issues were the bed is very small for two people and the apartment wasn't as clean as we would have hoped …
