We proudly offer our clean, stylish lower-level apartment, located right in the heart of U-District/Bryant neighborhood in NE Seattle. 2Bed/1Bath + full size kitchen + W/D. Walk to UVillage shopping area, UW campus, medical centers, and much more.
The apartment was built in 2010 with great attention to detail: Drawer-style F&P dishwasher, elegant glass shower and heated bathroom floors, and a 42” Plasma screen connected to Apple TV and Netflix. The outfitted galley kitchen is full-size with a gas range and microwave.
The apartment is quite spacious & tall: over 800sqft., with a full-height ceiling - so this doesn’t have the claustrophobic quality of many basement apartments. Right now it is set up for one couple in a queen bed. The bedroom is quiet, with a good mattress. The 2nd bedroom is set up as an office, including a futon-style sofa that opens flat, with bedding provided. It is worth noting that access to the bathroom is through the other bedroom.
The space includes everything you'll need for a short or longer stay, including a washer/dryer.
There is free wireless internet throughout.
The apartment is no smoking/no pets - so anyone with allergies should do well here.
This is the lower level of our home, and guests have a separate, private entrance. The door features a keypad bolt, and there is a short indoor staircase down to the apartment.

Independent check-in via the keypad lock is the norm, but we also make an effort to greet all of our guests at some point. We live right upstairs if you have any questions or concerns, and we are also available by phone and email during your stay. Beyond that, we base our interaction level on our guest's needs and wishes.
Both Amy and Riley have been to 40+ countries, 40+ states, and way more than 40 music festivals. We love meeting people from around the world, and hope that we’ll have some time to connect while you are in town!

PLEASE NOTE: The $100 security deposit is mostly for our parking pass (to ensure guests don't leave with it). Parking in the 'hood is generally fine. on Husky Football game days, a parking pass is required. The other 357 days a year, its 2 hour parking that is infrequently checked. but we do have a parking pass that you can hang from your mirror to ensure you don't get a ticket.
This is our home; please treat it with respect.
Parties larger than 5 are not allowed.
No pets are allowed.
No smoking (or candles) inside the apartment.
You must be 25 or older to rent the apartment.
My husband Riley & I are seasoned travelers who also love films, books, cooking, baseball and the outdoors. Riley owns a film-television-video production company, and Amy is an interior designer. Being self-employed entrepreneurs has given us the freedom to pursue an array of personal interests, and to see the world. Although we've traveled to more than 40 countries, our hearts are in the glorious Pacific Northwest, which we feel lucky to call home.
