A 1921 craftsman in the hills of Silverlake less than two blocks from the Sunset Junction, local shops, restaurants etc. Have a coffee at Intelligentsia and check out all the vintage shops. Grab some gelato on the corner at Pazzo after you have brunch at the beautiful restaurant Cliff's Edge. Saunter over to the historical Vista theater to check out the latest release. All walking distance and just a few examples of what Silverlake has to offer.
This one bedroom unit has a beautiful deck with the view of the Hollywood sign and Griffith Park's lovely observatory. The apartment also has a newly remodeled kitchen and there is an outside yard for BBQing and enjoying our consistently warm LA weather. Perfect for a couple that wants to get to know LA on a Silverlake artsy level. There is also a farmers market down the street 2 times a week..a quintessential Los Angeles experience. I live in the lower unit and am available to answer any questions or give suggestions at most any time. Welcome!!:)
One of my favorite reviews: If you're looking for the quintessential LA experience, you've found the perfect place in Betsy's apartment. Every morning greets you with sunshine and hummingbirds on the ample balcony, and every every evening warms you with a golden sunset across a panoramic view that includes the Hollywood sign, the Griffith Observatory, and the rest of the city skyline. The interior is tastefully decorated with a certain boho chic that makes you think Joni Mitchell or David Crosby might be included as part of the furniture. The kitchen is stocked with all the tools you need to prepare excellent dishes at home, but why would you cook when, within walking distance, you can find all the hippest bars, cafes, and restaurants in LA? Yes, if I'm ever feeling cold or blue, I'll be "California Dreamin'" of Betsy's Silver Lake oasis.
