Furnished guest room in a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom Silverlake apartment located on the 2nd floor of a 1920s 8-unit 2-building complex near Silver Lake Blvd and Sunset Blvd, near major bus stops and freeways. Roommate situation with small dog and cat.
The furnished guest room is in a quiet, safe and nurturing environment. There is a double bed that can turn into a queen bed. It has a mini-closet and drawers, and zebra fabric and much art on the walls, built in bookshelves, and a folding desk.
Shared kitchen, bathroom and living room space (with air conditioner) -- all decorated. A little rough around the edges - DIY. I keep it fairly clean, but it is an old building.
I work part-time, and write from home. I'm always willing to point you in the direction of fun events. I do have a small dog and a cat but no additional pets are allowed per landlord agreement.
Silver Lake is a popular neighborhood with lots of good eats and shops just down the street.
Major bus stops are one block away.
The home has been featured in two design books: "Kitsch Deluxe" and "Pad: The Guide to UltraLiving." If you've seen Miranda July's "The Future," it was shot in the back building.
This is a roommate situation, and a one-month minimum stay is required.
This is a sober home, so No Drugs, No Alcohol, and No Smoking on the premises.
$50 charge for any lost keys.
There is a nonrefundable $80 cleaning fee, and a refundable $300 security deposit to insure against damages.
Entrance and exit is through the front double doors only as the cat will try to escape the back door.
The cat is trained to use the toilet, so the seat has to stay down and the door opened when not in use.
As a courtesy, mutual notification must be given in writing/text in advance for any additional guests, whether overnight or just visiting.
Cancella fino a 7 giorni prima del viaggio e ricevi un rimborso del 50%, più i costi del servizio.
Moved to the Silver Lake are of Los Angeles in 1990, where I've lived except for a year in NY and Seattle. I've been in my current two-bedroom apartment since 1997, which I share with my small dog, Cosmo, and black cat, Ekkekko. Every room is a different theme, with hand-crafted features such as murals, inlay carpets, custom furniture, and a mosaic kitchen table. My home has been featured in the DIY design books "Pad: The Guide to Ultra Living" and "Kitsch Deluxe".
