Relax during your stay in Paris in my cozy one-bedroom, 30m2 apartment in the heart of the Marais, between the Hotel de Ville, rue des Rosiers, and the Pompidou Center.
Charming one-bedroom apartment, 5th floor (no elevator, alas). The apartment is very bright, with original wooden floors. The apartment looks onto a calm courtyard, where the aroma of the baguettes being baked at the bakery on the ground floor linger deliciously in the air. The apartment is ideal for a couple to enjoy (comfortable 140x190 bed in the bedroom) but can welcome 4 travelers (a high-quality electric blow-up mattress is available - 152cm wide x 203 cm long, 46cm thick), as well as bedding, should you wish to camp out :)
You will have access to wifi in the apartment so you can send out as many emails as you like of pictures of your amazing stay in Paris to all your friends and family, driving them mad with jealousy! There is also a tv with cable channels (and possibility to watch shows in English) for when you just wanna hang out... but, if I may, you are in the heart of Paris here. Get out there and enjoy the city!
You have all basic equipment and products to start off your stay: coffee, tea, mugs, glasses, silverware etc. And the kitchenette has a microwave, refrigerator, electric stove top, etc.
The bedroom is very calm, where you have space to store your belongings so you can relax during your stay. Clean linens are of course provided and made on the bed for your arrival.
The shower room is small but comfortable and is equipped with the basics: shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, and clean towels. There is also a hair dryer available, so no need to pack one up!
The apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator, but honestly, with the scents from the bakery accompanying you up the stairs, it's much easier to get up them :)
Altre cose da evidenziare
I'm American but have been living in Paris for 18 years. It will be my pleasure to give you any and all recommendations I can to help you enjoy your stay in this fabulous city - restaurants/cafés, museums, walks to take, things to avoid, etc.
The building is secured and accessible with 2 building codes that will be communicated to you when we make arrangements for meet-ups.
While I love animals, building regulations ing building don't allow me to welcome guests in my place :(
Please do not smoke in the apartment.
Beyond the cafes and restaurants around (I send my tried and true list of places to hit to my guests), there's also a grocery store just around the corner open every day until 10pm except Sunday (open until 2pm).
Finally, there's a laundrymat around the corner open 7 days a week on rue de Rosiers where you can enjoy a yummy falafel sandwich while waiting for your laundry to finish!
Depending on your arrival times, we will work out how to welcome you at the apartment etc.
Arrival times are pretty flexible but strictly speaking, check-in is at 2pm (though if no one is leaving the day of your arrival, i will happily organize an early check-in).
Departure times are by noon but if I dont have guests arriving the day of your departure, I can be flexible with that too!
If you know your arrival/departure times at the time of reservation, please let me know and we'll see how we can work it all out :)
Originally from Chicago, I've been living in Paris for 19 years now. I quickly fell in love with this city and hope to help you around the ins and outs so you can, too! I am lucky enough to travel the world, thanks to my work, and look forward to using Airbnb to help me navigate around!
A la base, je viens de Chicago, mais cela fait 19 ans que j'habite Paris. Je suis tombée amoureuse de cette ville assez rapidement, et j'espère pouvoir vous donner les conseils pour que en tombez amoureux aussi ;)
