Comfy bedroom & private lux bath in classic Bloomingdale rowhouse that backs to lovely park. Trendy neighborhood restaurants, hip bars, coffee shop, corner grocery, yoga -- yet still a residential neighborhood. 1 block to city bus. 6 blocks to subway. 30 min walk to US Capitol.
Room on 2nd floor has double bed for 1 or 2 guests (only 1 guest if staying longer than 5 days) and a renovated bath. The room has a small desk for writing or laptop. Enjoy fresh morning air in the front garden or rear deck overlooking the park or go stroll through it. Squeeze a quick workout in downstairs before you explore what DC has to offer. We are repeatedly told the pictures don't do the house justice.
Full use of your room and bath at all times. Use of living room, dining room, front garden, rear deck, the park and basement "gym" -- and kitchen basic use allowed from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. More extensive kitchen use for guests staying 5 days or more.

Altre cose da evidenziare
Well behaved dogs allowed with prior notice (sorry, no cats...I'm allergic). Parking pass for street parking if needed. Holding your luggage before check-in or after check-out can usually be arranged. Please let me know what time you expect to arrive. If you have a special request or need, just let Patrick know. Warren works long hours, so Patrick is your generally your primary host. We -- and therefore the house -- is easy and quiet.
Common courtesy is our general rule. No smoking or drugs in the house or on the deck. No additional guests inside the house. Ensure the all doors and windows in your room are locked when you leave (or enter). $50 fee for lost key. $100 fee for lost parking pass. Approval required for early check-in or late check-out, but we are pretty flexible. Early/late access to the room depends on calendar bookings. Please be as quiet as possible before 6:00 a.m. and after 10:00 p.m. During the week, we generally are up at 6:00 and go to bed anytime between 9:00 and 11:00.
