Spacious living for 4 people or just two people if so desired.(reduced pricing for two guests in winter May-September) Main bedroom has a super king size bed, which also can be split into two singles, a second bedroom has the same super king bed which can also be split into two single beds, all sharing a modern tiled bathroom.
The large sitting room contains a kitchenette with sink, microwave and fridge, dining table, desk and Sky TV. Sliding glass doors lead out onto a large sunny exterior patio with table, umbrella chairs and a gas BBQ for your outdoor living.
The apartment consists of the whole downstairs area of a large modern private house which has wonderful views of Lake Taupo.
There are stairs, both outdoor and internal to access the apartment.

We enjoy meeting visitors to the area and will host visitors for breakfast if pre-arranged and for dinners at an extra cost when mutually agreed.

My wife Marki and I have travelled the world extensively and enjoy meeting people from all parts of the world. I have been an international rowing coach for some years, as well as having been a sheep/beef farmer, and we are now semi-retired here in Taupo.
We do not allow pets but guests may get to know our small 'Hairy McClairy' a miniature Poodle x.
Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas of the property.
If and when we, the property owners are not in residence, the apartment is reached by the external steps only. There will not be a washing machine or dryer either but there is a drying rack and iron available.
Marki and Chris Nilsson - married for 45 years with 4 grown sons. Chris is a retired sheep/beef farmer in Hawke's Bay, NZ, and retired International Rowing Coach after posts in the UK(Oxford and Cambridge), the USA(Princeton NJ) and New Zealand.
Marki built a large garden at the farm where we held weddings and now enjoy semi retirement in Taupo, New Zealand. We have a large modern house right on the edge of Lake Taupo and are wanting to open our home to interesting guests who are keen to visit Taupo for all the wonderful activities available here throughout the year.
Fishing, golf and travel are our favorite pastimes as well as meeting people, especially those from different parts of the world.
We are both avid sports fans - cricket, rugby, rowing, golf, tennis, Americas Cup racing skiing and cards!
