Stay in a 1870's Victorian Gin House. The house retains many of it's original features, the building and facilities are to a very high standard.
An impressive 1,800Sq ft 3 bedroom 4 bathroom house.
Outside there is a lovely patio with a sunny aspect for outdoor dining.
On the first floor the stairs lead to a spacious open plan living and dining room. There are large comfortable sofas and chairs for guests to relax while they watch the wall-mounted Flat Screen TV, with cable channels and Bose music console. There is an extensive dining table in the dining area that seats 12 people comfortably. The professionally equipped stainless steel kitchen and stand-alone stove is complimented with in-cupboard dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and fridge freezer. The adjoining balcony overlooks the patio and there is a discrete guest bathroom on the same floor.
On the second floor there are two large double bedrooms: the Master bedroom with Flat Screen TV, with cable channels and large en-suite wet room. The Second bedroom has an en-suite with bathtub and shower.
On the third floor there is a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, office desk with computer access and a large double hammock to relax.
You can hear the iconic sounds of Big Ben at night and have views of the London Eye from the top floors!
The nearest supermarket can be reached on foot in 5 minutes and you also have a fantastic Italian Delicatessen offering fresh organic produce and a vegetarian restaurant just across the road.
The house is has an excellent central London location:
SIGHTS: Just a 5 minute walk to the River Thames, then just a few minutes walk to Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, London Eye and the Tate Britain art gallery! Only 4 stops from the busy shops of Oxford Circus and Regent street shops are only 3 stops away in Green Park.
FACILITIES: Just a 10 minute walk to Pimlico and Victoria, offering a vast array of shops, bars, cafe's and restaurants, food/farmers markets and supermarkets.
TRANSPORT: Just a 3 minute walk from Vauxhall tube station (London Underground Victoria Line-Zone 1, London Buses and a National Rail interchange station). There are direct bus links from Vauxhall station to many of London’s tourist attractions such as Tate Modern, Tower of London and the shops of Oxford Street.
BETTER THAN A HOTEL: You really have a lovely bedroom as in a hotel but with the use of a kitchen which helps keep costs down for breakfast, refreshments and meals AND a lovely living area space to relax and enjoy. You can also do your own laundry which is expensive in a hotel. You will find the house an oasis of tranquility after your busy day out. There is Sky TV, bring your laptop with you and use the internet (no daily charge like a hotel).
ACCESS & LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS: We usually live here, but the house is usually ready so we can often accommodate last minute requests. Your housekeeping charge covers the cost of the house being returned to its clean state for all our guests.
CHECK IN & OUT times: We need at least 4 hours to get the house ready for you. However, if I don't have a back to back booking, then these can be flexible as I appreciate if you are flying in/out of London then you may want access at different times. Please email us to discuss - We can always arrange for you to drop off luggage in the morning and check in in the afternoon.

CHECK IN from 3pm
CHECK OUT by 11am
We agree together your ½ hour check-in slot according to your landing time allowing plenty of time for you to travel to the house.
We can always accommodate changes in check-in time up to the day before your check-in date and we will do our best to accommodate same day changes.
Please bear in mind that last minute changes or if you fail to let us know your arrival time has changed will incur an extra £30 for every hour or fraction of hour past the agreed arrival time. Please call, text or email when you are about to leave the airport.
LATE/EARLY CHECK IN/OUT FEES
•If you wish to book a check-in from 8pm to 11pm, it will incur an extra £50 fee.
•If you wish to book a check-in from 11pm onwards, it will incur an extra £100.
•You can book an early check-in or late check-out at a fee (according to availability), please ask for a quote.
•You can also drop your bags at no extra charge from 11am to 2pm if agreed in advance.
Please let me know in your enquiry how many people and how many beds do your require so that we can get them ready for you.
We will make our best effort to make you feel at home away from home, however we respectfully ask our guests to look after it as if it was your own home.
•SECURITY – It is a very safe neighborhood; we have no had any problems in the past 5 years, however, its better to avoid any risks. Please be sure to lock the property when you leave and when you go to sleep. Including the patio gate.
•For our guests and our own home security, no external visitors and no extra guests overnight are permitted.
•SMOKING – We live in a smoke-free environment. Please do not smoke inside the house. Smoking is permitted in the patio area only, but please dispose of your cigarette butts.
•PERSONAL STUFF – This is our home and we live here most of the time, so you will see our belongings around. Basic courtesy and respect is requested.
•We have a “shoes-off” policy in the house. We request you to take off your shoes on the first stairs landing (Living room level). Our downstairs neighbour can hear your footsteps otherwise.
•Strictly no party and no noise after 11pm and before 8am. Failure to comply with this rule (including receiving any complaint from my neighbors) will result in immediate eviction and full damage deposit retained in compensation.
•Please let me know if something breaks or is damaged or is not working properly during your stay so that I can replace or fix it immediately.
•Please leave the property as clean and tidy as you found it. The price paid for the check out cleaning is intended for standard cleaning. Washing plates, throwing leftovers of food, disposing of any extra rubbish outside the rubbish bin are not included and will incur an extra charge.
•Please ensure that all doors and windows are locked when you leave the house.
•Candles are for decorative purposes, please do not light any candles.
•By booking the property the guest gains a temporary licence to stay at the property from the booking start date to the booking end date. This is not a tenancy agreement.
