Historical Guest House is a beautiful oasis in the heart of downtown Whitehorse. The Rose Room is upstairs and has a Queen Bed and is $105 for 1 person, $115 for 2 people. Your private washroom is on the main floor. We're located right downtown in a quiet residential neighbourhood, yet close to all shops and restaurants. The Yukon River is just 5 blocks away, and we're 2 blocks from Main Street.
Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and all utensils. There is the convenience of wireless WiFi, as well as cable TV and phone for local calls. Outside there is a beautiful garden, filled with trees and sunflowers, a covered gazebo and a BBQ. It's an oasis in the heart of downtown.
We also have bikes for our guests to ride, free of charge, and if you're planning a longer backpacking or canoe trip, there's lots of space to spread out your gear and pack. Your hosts, Bernie and Pam, live in their own historical home, right next door.
Interazione con gli ospiti
Our private residence is right next door to the Guest House and we share the garden. We are home all the time and meet and greet our guests when they arrive, and are always available to answer questions or just to chat away under the gazebo.
Altre cose da evidenziare
Summer or winter, there is always something exciting to see or do. There are lots of music festivals and there is a vibrant local theatre, arts and music scene.
There are no house rules. Just be mindful if you happen to come in really late at night. Also, if you are outside under the gazebo, be aware of the time if it's late. Try to be quiet late at night, as the midnight sun is deceiving when you're trying to determine what time it is. We love animals, but we don't allow pets in the Guest House, although we do have 2 dogs of our own, Sofie, a husky and Eddie, a golden retriever. They both are very friendly. Smoking outside permitted.
