I'm a semi-retired hair stylist and yoga instructor, and I travel whenever I can. I love to see new locales, see the architecture, meet new people, eat their cuisine, try their customs, learn their language, etc. I've always found that the best way to do that is by staying in a private residence or guest house and living like a local.
I have traveled fairly extensively and rarely stay in hotels although that is nice sometimes too.
I am a very creative type and I find my inspiration when I am visiting new places and getting outside my comfort zone.
I've become a great packer and NEVER check my luggage anymore! I'd be happy to show you how I do it..
I love hosting because I enjoy creating spaces and experiences for my guests to help them to feel totally at ease during their trip. And I often get to experience cultural exchanges without even leaving my house!
