Interior-designed, light-filled house with 1 double bedroom on ground level; 1 double bed on upper mezzanine level (but still private) accessed via spiral staircase; open-plan living, underfloor heating, open fire, power shower (NO bath), outdoor space with patio furniture, dining area on upper level on open plan bridge!

PARENTS: We do not feel that the house is appropriate for toddlers. Please ensure you're comfortable about safety aspects of winding staircase and balcony area upstairs.

Fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle. Pots, pans, utensils. Weighing scales.

Soarview TV with selection of Irish, UK and US channels.

Being my first time in Dublin I was not too familiar with location and distance from my office. When I arrived in Clontarf I was a bit worried it would be far from the city center but this was not the case. Should it be by taxi or rail reaching the city center was simple and easy! Now, the listing. First, Sean was so amazing to work with and incredibly responsive to any communication or questions. Jason took plenty of time walking me through his beautiful listing, sharing maps of the area and local recommendations for food and groceries. The listing was simply perfect. Lovely heated bathroom floors, a perfectly stocked kitchen and comfortable living room. The bedroom was quite nice and comphy and it was nice to be able to sit outside in the courtyard to enjoy the sunshine that showed up for my visit. I cannot wait to return! Thanks Sean and Jason!!

The other reviews do the place justice. It was an absolute pleasure coming home to spend the evening at Sean's place. Public transportation is great and the bus stop is very close. There is lots of privacy and a beautiful, enormous, park a short walk away. Highly recommended.

Our stay was perfect. There was great communication from the very beginning. At check in we got a great introduction to the area, including tons of wonderful recommendations. The home was just like in the pictures, and was everything we needed for our stay. Public transport to the city center was a few steps away. Highly recommend!

Place is great. Stayed for two weeks with husband and 8 year old. Stylish & lovely design, tons of cookware, close to shops & transport, very safe. Watch your head in the upstairs bedroom, it's low and sloped, we all smashed our noggins more than once! Loved the fireplace & shower & on-site washer. The water pump makes a scary noise in the bedroom when someone in the house uses water while others are sleeping, but that's the only negative and it's very minor. Jason & Sean are kind and communicative. The neighborhood is terrific and we had some great meals by the water. Check out the Westwood gym nearby. It's HUGE and great for kids, and has a giant pool. They give discounts for short stays.

Sean and Jason were extremely welcoming hosts. Accommodation is perfect and the location is ideal for visiting Dublin and the countryside. Thank you to them for their hospitality. I highly recommend this accommodation.

I have had a long association with AIRBNB but this was my first experience on the other side so to speak. This is a beautiful home, very comfortable and well presented. The main seating area has a lovely bright sunny aspect. We had literally every home amenity at our fingertips. This is a private space with its own entrance and outside sitting area. There were some lovely new plantings and vivid coloured flowers in terrace pots which were beautiful to gaze out at. A fabulous location for a morning run along Clontarf sea front or St Anne's Park and if you have wheels consider a run at Sutton Strand or Howth. Cycling also a good option. Some lovely shopping hubs in the locale including the Saturday market at the Red Stables (former horse stables) in St Anne's Park. There is also a small theatre, the Viking, which I did not get to this time. The hosts are very good communicators, knowledgable and willing to share information freely. They have prepared an extensive folder of information. There was fresh milk and home made jam in the fridge and a plug adapter. We had a great time at Design House.
