Homersfield is a conservation village and lies halfway between the historic market towns of Harleston and Bungay. There is a large pub in the village, the Black Swan (full menu, 4mins walk), and the Bell pub (home-cooked menu, 12mins). There is also a farm shop/cafe 7mins walk. We can also boast about our village river bridge - the oldest concrete bridge in the country...
The delightful seaside town of Southwold, the historic cathedral city of Norwich and the sandy beaches of south Lowestoft are all around a 30-minute drive.
There are occasional buses, but a car is essential.
The 4-acre wood (2 minutes) is owned by the village and leads up to the 16c church (always open). The Angles Way runs through the village and there is a 2-mile circular walk across the marsh - passing both pubs.
No smoking or pets please.
