This huge 550 sq ft apartment with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom is located centrally in the Wan Chai district on Hong Kong Island. The apartment can accomodate up to 9 people comfortably due to it's sheer size of 550 sq ft. This apartment is located conveniently close to restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, post office, bars and more. It is located a short 200 meter stroll from Wan Chai MTR - you could not choose a better location than here.

Everything is ready to go from when you check-in, so travel lighter and don't have a single worry. I have provided this for you: Towels, bed linen, hair dryer, shampoo, soap, city guide.

This apartment can comfortably sleep up to 9 people. Each room has it's own air conditioner.

Master Bedroom #1:

Bedroom #3:
1 Single Bed - contains 1 single bed. It will be replaced with a Double Bed by Mid January 2015.

Living room contains a huge sofa for lounging in front of the 32'' TV, which has all major channels and cable TV.

We also provide:
Open Kitchen: Fridge, stove, cooking utensils & small oven.
Living area: Sofa, HD LCD TV, free high speed WIFI, cable TV - CNN, BBC WORLD, etc.
Bathroom: Towels, shampoo, shower gel.

It was first made famous in the 1960s via the movie The World of Suzie Wong. Wan Chai is a pleasant neighborhood with aspiring new-coming gastro-pubs & restaurants starting up on a weekly basis. It has also earned itself a party-district with its immense number of bars located on Lockhart Road. That aside, it is a safe and comfortable neighborhood.

It is easy to get around. Lots of buses going in every direction across Hong Kong. More conveniently you're:
5 minutes walk to the closest MTR (Subway) station.
1 MTR-stop to Causeway Bay shopping haven!
2 MTR-stops to Central, SOHO, for great restaurant and night life!
2 MTR-stops to Tsim Sha Tsui.

If you are a larger party with a lot of guests, please be considerate to other residents in the building and enter the building in smaller groups of people. That will ease congestion of the lobby area, and avoid residents complaining about unnecessary many people and luggages in the elevator.

Do make yourself at home, but please help save the environment by turning off the air conditioner and all electrical appliances when u leave the apartment, many thanks for your cooperation.

If somebody or the security guards asks, please tell them you are a friend of mine. This is because the apartment is located in a private residential building.

Please remove all flight check-in sticker labels from the luggage, so as not to cause unnecessary attention from residents.

Please do not disturb the neighbors and keep your voice down at night and early morning time to avoid unnecessary complaints.

The water heater needs to be turned off when not in use. If it breaks due to prolonged time left on, you will not have any hot water for your stay.

In the case that you have an evening departure flight:
Please note that you can check in your luggage at anytime during the same day as your flight at the Airport Express station, which is located at Kowloon Station or Hong Kong Station. That way you would be free to explore the city on your last day, not having to worry about your luggage or rushing to the airport since you have already checked in, you will not have to be at the airport as early as everyone else.

Niki promptly provided all the needed info on the apartment and the neighbourhood. The apartment was not really clean, the kitchen was greasy and ants were found on the fridge and on the table. Niki was promptly informed and she promised she would take actions.

The apartment is nice and clean with good air conditioner and water heater. The building is reconstructed these days, so it's kinda noisy in the day. And I couldn't reach the host because she didn't leave either a phone number or a private email address to Airbnb.

Completely misleading. This is a 60 sqm, 3 bedroom each with a single bed. The sofabed is hardly a bed. 1 bathroom to share. Half broken table that you cannot use to eat. Host asked you to take out your luggage tag, when you meet guard or neighbour, you should tell them that you are his friend/relative. But it is clean and centrally located - fit max 6 people.

Choosing this listing was a bad idea! We highly recommend that you do not book this place. My friends and I already read the reviews about this apartment but we still chose it. Maybe it was because we thought the host or owner could've done something already to rectify the mentioned problems/issues from the past reviews. We were wrong. Here are the reasons why:1. Listing said it could fit up to 9 people but it realistically couldn't. This place can fit only 6 people MAXIMUM. 2. The SAMSUNG ELECTRONIC DOOR KNOB did not work during our 2nd night!!!! We were locked out for 2hrs. No response from Nikki, the host. Until the next day, no response. 3. When some of my friends went down to the lobby to ask help from the receptionist/lobby personnel, he was implying he could not understand english BUT he pointed to a sign which had the contact number of a locksmith. It was indeed sketchy. 4. My friends and I had to call a locksmith (we (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)d and decided not to contact the one written on the sign at the lobby) to help us with the door. Take note, this was already around 3:00AM in HongKong time.5. The next day, around lunch time, after resting from that horrifying experience, a man was trying to enter our unit! It was another locksmith. We had no idea who sent him but he changed the entire electronic door knob and did not charge us at all which was totally freaky. (We think the host sent the 2nd locksmith but did not want to face us or talk to us)6. THE HOST DID NOT REPLY TO ANY OF MY CALLS OR E-MAILS which was very disappointing!!!!! We were at a foreign country, for God's sake. Even up to this day, we did not receive any reply from any of our messages! Even Airbnb did not receive feedback! On the other hand, there were a few things that we appreciated from this listing/unit. It was the very cold aircon units (total of 4 considering that the place was extremely small) and the strong shower water supply. Despite everything that we experienced, we were able to communicate well with Airbnb and they were able to refund us. Special mention to our case manager, Mr Perry, who empathized and listened to everything we had to say about our experience. Again, we do not recommend this listing at all!

While it has potential, the condition of this apartment is not currently suitable for hosting. To start with, the owner’s description of “HUGE” is a very relative one. Having traveled all over the world and currently living in Japan, we understand that this may be a larger place than some, but it in no way fits the “HUGE” category that the owner uses repeatedly to describe this place. The home is advertised to sleep 9. However, the small double beds in the three tiny rooms (basically the size of the bed with a small walking area) can sleep two smallish people, but the couch bed in the living room (with no mattress), would be difficult for two. Once the couch is laid out, I don’t know where you would expect to lay out two more mats for sleeping in the small living room, not to mention suitcases for 9. Just to note: there is a rickety table that might seat 4, but no chairs to sit on. More importantly, perhaps, there were many features of this home that are broken. One of the tiny bedrooms had a broken light-fixture and no other functioning lights (we later saw this in other reviews, but it has still not been repaired?!). There was no curtain in the living room/extra bedroom window – it was sitting in the windowsill. The holder for the shower head in the shower unit was completely broken and the bathroom mirror was nowhere to be seen (no other mirrors in the place either). The keybox probably needed a battery replaced. After we finally discovered that the touch panel had to be activated by pushing a thin silver unobtrusive piece of the panel (this should definitely be better described in the instructions), it took several tries to get all of the numbers to show up in order to input the code. Entering and leaving the home was stressful each time because we were told by the owner to lie and tell anyone who asked that we were relatives or friends (an unfamiliar-looking Caucasian family of 7 standing there in the narrow hallway of a resident apartment building messing with a code box?!) and told not to “congregate” or wait at the lift (very small waiting space and an elevator that wouldn’t hold our family with a minimal amount of luggage). Basically, we were glad to have a roof over our heads for the night, but happy to move on the next day! With a bit of love and care and a more accurate description, this place has potential, but we would not recommend this place in its current condition.
