The apartment was great. Comfortable, with a unique layout and great to spend time in with my boyfriend. The owner was pleasant over text (We never met, but didn't really have the need to as we collected the keys from a hotel about a 20 minute walk from the apartment). The kitchen was fully stocked with enough plates, pots, cutlery and bottle openers to satisfy guests, and although the TV didn't work we could get wifi for our laptops with proximus-FON for €30 a month (Which can then be used by as many as your devices as you want, all over Brussels). The only real problem we had with the place was the water pressure in the bathroom, but I fixed this by telling my boyfriend to run up and down stairs with a large pot several times until I could relax in the nice deep bath without the need to think about it. In all honesty, I don't think it's possible to find a place better than this for the price and location. In fact, if someone hadn't booked for the next month we'd be staying there until July (4 months in total).

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Bruxelles. Cependant lors de notre arrivée, nous avons trouvé le logement insalubre (poussières, vaisselles non faites, sol souillé, toilette non laver, couvertes et coussin plein d'urine, fuite d'eau...) nous aurions souhaité être accueillies à l'arrivée pour éviter tout cela. Bernard reste une personne agréable. L'appartement est très bien situé, proche du centre et de tout transport. Merci Bernard, mais soyez beaucoup plus vigilant, car tout le monde n'est pas indulgent.

Une petite révision de l'appartement à l’attention des suivants. Nous y avons séjourné un mois et vous dressons une liste des avantages et inconvénients rencontrés en arrivant: Avantages: - possibilité de venir chercher les clefs un jour avant et de les déposer un jour après - prix peu élevé pour un appartement relativement spacieux près du quartier européen - appartement déjà meublé, avec couverts/assiettes en suffisance - quelques cadres et lampes de décoration sympa - chauffage fonctionnel, cuisinière et micro-onde également Inconvénients: - appartement sale en arrivant (encore des miettes sur la table, vaisselle encore sale et appartement rempli de poussière, découverte d’une souris morte près de la cuisine) - évier du haut totalement bouché et robinet du haut non fonctionnel - cage d’escalier des communs assez glauque et aucune lumière fonctionnelle dans cette pour s’y repérer le soir - aucune rencontre avec l'hôte car à l'étranger, les clefs ont dû être cherchée à Wezembeek-oppem et déposée à Stéphanie. - lit trop grinçant que pour dormir dedans - très difficile d'obtenir une température d’eau stable pour le bain, et impossible de se tenir debout pour une douche - pour internet: au départ, l'appartement est affiché sans connexion dans la description. Nous avons demandé à l'hôte si la connexion internet fonctionnait, et il nous a certifié qu'elle fonctionnait très bien. Arrivé sur place, nous avons tenté de nous connecter avec les login/mdp fourni, mais en vain. L'hôte n'ayant pas répondu à notre message suivant, nous avons tenté de payer notre propre compte Belgacomfon, mais le signal est trop faible et la connexion trop lente que pour être utilisée. Je vous conseille fortement de prendre un abonnement 4G, ce qui nous a permet de tenir le mois sans problème. Malgré tout, nous avions lu les révisions précédentes et n'avons pas passé un si mauvais séjour que ça :)

Bonjour; Tout d'abord merci pour votre commentaire; Il aide dans tous les cas à s'améliorer. En effet j'offre une totale flexibilité pour la reprise des clés, à proximité, ou comme c'était le cas ici à votre demande, du côté de Wezembeek. Je suis par contre surpris de votre commentaire sur le wifi. le réeau Proximus Fon est un réseau national qui fonctionne parfaitement. Profesionnellement je l'utilise quasi tous les jours, et peux donc vous confirmer qu'il fonctionne parfaitement. Maintenant il s'agit d'un réseau "de dépannage", pour lire quelques emails.. pas pour streamer des films ou de la musique à longueur de journée; POur cela il faut en effet une autre connexion payante, le premier vous étant offer gratuitement.

Apartment is good value for money. Quite big for the price. Very good and central location if you are working in the EU Area. There were some problems with the shower but the host fixed them quite fast. There is a bus stop in front of the apartment so you can get everywhere you need to really fast. There are shopping possibilities close to the apartment as well. Apartment could be cleaner.

One word: disgusting. I was contacted 2 days before arrival that the apartment was not available for 10 more days. I had the option to go into another one of Mr Wilmet's apartment while waiting 10 days or find something else last minute. I went into another one of his apartment. I had to go 3 km away to get the key myself at a hotel reception. Arrived at the apartment to discover a dirty, filthy place, toilet was not flushed, kitchen was dirty, place was covered in dust, matress covered with nice stains all over so I slept on the sofa instead (after vacuming it for 30 min). Once cleaned, the place was allright althoug very badly equiped (random sets of glasses, no plates, pans and pots all dirty, etc.). After 10 days I had to repack all and move to the initial place I booked... It was worse! Even more dirty, with mouse excrement in the kitchen cabinets, blood stains on the white sofa that is everything but white (not sure how old is the photo in airbnb), the hot water takes 10 minutes to arrive (if arrive at all) and the pressure is too low so you get hardly enough water to take a shower I had to use a big cup to collect water and rinse my hair. This place was a disaster. Mr Wilmet has a bunch of apartments that I assume he rent and sub-let on airbnb. Mr Wilmet doesn't do any check in nor check out. He just ask you to go get the keys to a hotel reception. Warm welcome. And he contacted me 4 days after my check-out to ask about where I left the keys! A very caring host indeed. I don't understand that Airbnb authorise this kind of behaviour (renting crap places with the only objective of sub-letting it to poor tourists). It's a shame. I can only recommend you to stay away from any of Mr Wilmet apartments. I stayed at 2 different ones (the one described here and another one near Flagey) and they were both super dirty and badly equipped. At the end, I left the apartment I had pay for and went to stay at some friend's place... I am lucky I am not a tourist so I had a car (to go get the keys and move around) and some friends where I was able to stay... Mr Wilmet is a shame to AirBnb reputation.

Dear Mikael. I understand you did not have a pleasant stay in this apartment or in Brussels in general; However, this does not give you the right to talk like this about the places you rented as this is just not the reality ! For all future guests, please read also previous comments (last one saying for example "Nice, well equipped apartment in perfectly central location"). I am renting various apartments indeed, for about 7 years now (prior to Airbnb..), also under the strict control of a specialised estate agency that controls frequently all apartments. We haven't meet ? Let me refresh also your memory.. I met twice with the person who was leaving with you in both apartments ! You.. are a shame to Airbnb reputation !
