The house is home to two beautiful cats. I have had people stay in the house who are allergic to cats, but with their basic medication have done fine. The house is meticulously cleaned and vacuumed before any rentals, but if anyone in your party is super allergic to cats, they may react to some of the dander inherent in a house where cats live.
Your longtime Airbnb "Superhostess" Becky states: Unlimited use of entire house. Full bathrooms on both first and second floor. Cook meals, use refrigerator, make some tea, relax in grand open room, build a fire, browse our extensive libraries. Enjoy our backyard, patio area, outdoor grill and fire pit. Walk in our woods, sit on the bench at our pond. Park your car(s) in our two bay garage.

Family and friends-type gatherings are encouraged at my house. I live here and expect my guests to respect my property. Please treat the house as if it were yours.

Preferred to leave shoes on porch.
I am a retired elementary school teacher with grown children who live in NYC. My home is available as a B and B or as a full house rental. I love hostessing and sharing my home with others. I love making people feel comfortable and helping them take advantage of this area.
I have spent much of my life traveling. I have spent a year in Mexico and Guatemala and a year in Ecuador. I have traveled to most of the US states, to Europe and Israel. I hope to get to Africa and Asia before I die. I usually stay at hostels because I enjoy meeting other people. In another life I would like to run a youth hostel. This could be the next best thing.
I am an outdoor enthusiast and particularly like hiking, swimming, bicycling, kayaking and gardening. When I am feeling down, it is usually because I haven't had enough time outdoors.
I play the clarinet with the Eagles Band in Pittsfield, Ma.
I have lived in this home for 30 years. I currently live with my boyfriend and 2 cats. Presently I work for the Berkshire Immigrant Center and for Common Good Finance, an organization creating an alternative, local economy.
