This spacious and stylish property, located on the lower ground floor (9 steps stairs) of a traditional period townhouse and accessed via your own private entrance is the perfect pad from which to launch your London stay.

Beautifully furnished with an eclectic mix of comfortable furniture,
contemporary artwork and quintessentially English touches such as the Colefax and Fowler papered hallway.

Two large double bedrooms are located off a central vestibule. Bedroom one contains a queen-size bed, wall-mounted television and large fitted wardrobes and is adjoined by a recently-fitted contemporary bathroom with WC and shower over bath.

Bedroom two also contains a queen-size bed and ample storage space in fitted wardrobes. Fresh linen and towels are provided.

A second beautifully appointed-bathroom with shower and WC is located at the end of the hall, which leads to the capacious lounge room (complete with wide-screen TV) and fitted kitchen.

The flat’s large dining area with seating for 8, and home-office space are housed under a stunning light-filled conservatory which adjoins the lounge and flows directly to the sunny private garden with outdoor dining suite and a view of the nearby church.

We aim to provide you with the most relaxing and enjoyable experience, so what ever that means for you, we will accommodate. We leave a handbook with detailed instructions of the flat and everything in it, as well as tips for places to go and things to see in the local area.

Notting Hill is a popular destination for its lively market, gorgeous streetscapes, interesting history and diverse population. It has achieved a level of fame for the annual carnival, as well as the movie of course.

Portobello Road hosts a very eclectic weekly market and is also home to a similarly off-beat set of permanent shops, and Westbourne Grove now has some of the very best Boutiques in town amongst its shops.

The Notting Hill carnival was first staged in 1964 as a way for the local Afro-Caribbean communities to celebrate their own cultures and traditions. After some rough times in the 1970s and 1980s when it became associated with social protest, violence and huge controversy over policing tactics, this is now Europe's largest carnival/festival event and a major event in the London calendar. It is staged every August over the Bank holiday weekend.

Further west from Notting Hill providing a natural buffer between the north and south of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, is Holland Park. This is the least well known of London's Royal Parks and locals would like to keep it that way. A real a gem of a park which is off the tourist trail but very much worth a visit.

Things to note straight off:

The big white safety grill in the living room, you open by turning the key in the wall to the right. Just turn to the up direction to do so. Please also close this when you leave at the end of your stay

Back door: Please push the door knob all the way to up, then turn key. It is very stiff, and you need to slam the door shut (quite forcefully) to align it to close/lock. To open, you need to kick the base with your shoe to push it open. It does work, it’s just very stiff! Please lock when you leave

Kindly take note that 24 hour checkin is available, however if it is before 8.30am or after 9pm a small charge will apply. And for any last minute changes of schedule to checkin times we need at least 24 hour notice, otherwise a small charge will be incurred.. Many thanks.
