Dear Stuart McDonald,
Thanks for your review we take all our guests’ comment seriously and we are sorry hear of these issues during your stay. However I would like first to put the issue of the money into perspective, you were charged €1000 per week for eight people, which comes up to €18 per person per night. We do not operate 15 apartments but 91 and all of our listings are the same, the regulated electricity supply is explained in detail in every single listing. We do not con people, we provide more than sufficient electricity for the stay, the system is only in place to reduce wastage, guests going out and leaving the A/C on all day for nothing. Very, rarely do guests exceed the allocated amount. In fact not withstanding all your aggravation for the electricity meter system you didn’t consume half of your allocated electricity during your stay. I cannot understand why you never heard of this system before as all hotels around the world have a system to combat wastage, where for example when you leave the room the electricity goes off.
As for the duvet being summer duvet, we believe that if you phoned from the free phone in the apartment, same as you did for the replacement of the kitchen gas, we would have provided winter duvets immediately.
Lastly for the internet, please note that internet is provided by a local ISP and is intended for residential use. The idea of coming to Malta all eight of you and using the apartment as a base to play online poker simultaneously all day long is not in the books as the amount of bandwidth you require for that purpose by far exceeds the limits of the internet modem provided. Now we do not go into details of what one does in the apartment however it is up to you to let us know your requirements and why you need the apartment as for us to be in a position to guide you if the chosen property can satisfy your needs.
Thanks again for taking time to review the property and hopeful next time if informed beforehand we will try to provide proper commercial internet access.
