The studio is located in village Ramey, in the heart of Montmartre, which has a unique, authentic Parisian atmosphere, with lots of little cafés, boutiques and restaurants. It is also right next to a bubbly multi-ethnic neighbourhood. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist circuit, even though it is only a 100 meters away from the Sacré Coeur basilica, the place du Tertre and a ten minute walk from the trendy Abbesses area. The cobble-stoned lane where it is located is typical of Montmartre, steep and winding ! with lovely trees.
Newstand, laundromat, bakery, restaurants, supermaket, grocery store, butcher’s shop, wine shop, cheese shop, local street market, gym, swimming pool, cinemas, theatres, and many lovely cafés . . .

I always wanted to visit Paris and especially Montmartre so I was very happy to find Juliette'studio which is in the best part of Montmartre, close to Sacré Coeur and two metro stations. I was able to visit all the places I wanted to, including those in Montmartre: Moulin Rouge, Café des 2 Moulin (the one from Amelie Poulain :)), and many others. The studio is clean and cozy. The bed is also incredibly comfortable. I recomend this place to everyone who want to have a real Parisian/bohemian experience.
Juliette's studio is exactly as described. It is simple and cosy and we very much enjoyed our stay there. The area is really interesting with good food and drink only a few steps away. Juliette is super organised and quick to respond so even before we arrived I sensed we would be taken care of. She is attentive and provides thorough information about the studio and a guide to the area too. I would recommend to friends travelling through Paris and would use again. Thanks Juliette - à bientôt!!
This place was absolutely incredible. The views were amazing. I would highly recommend Juliette to anyone looking for a remarkable place to stay while in Paris.
This apartment was wonderful. I will be perfectly frank - I was surprised by the location when I got off of the train. The area is not the "Old Paris" one would suspect to find - you are more likely to find a pawn shop than a boulangerie. But just beyond the station, the charm of Paris is found everywhere. Juliette is very clear with her instructions about how to get there, how to find things in the apartment, local attractions, etc. If you are looking for someone to let you experience Paris on your own (which I did!), Juliette is the one! Be warned - the apartment is VERY small, so do not be expecting to have a lot of room. It was the perfect size for just me, and it would probably be great for a couple. It is just a lot smaller than it even looked in the photos. The view is incredible. The apartment is up a steep hill the is right under the Sacre Coeur, one of the best sights in Paris. In all, Juliette was a wonderful host!
Thank you for your review Austin. I acknowledge that the area just outside Château-Rouge metro station is not nice, which is why I advise my guests to use Anvers station on line 2. Unfortunately, because it is the closest station, most of my guests usually don't listen to my advice. By using Anvers station or Jules Joffrin station, which is what I do myself, one avoids walking through the area leading to Château-Rouge station and can also enjoy a beautiful walk through old traditional Paris. So dear guests who are reading these lines, please use the tips I'll give you if you book my place (-:
The place and location are perfect, there are lots of nice bistros and bars just around the corner and it's just a few minutes walk from the metro. Juliette was a very good host. She provided a lot of information before arrival wich was very helpful and everything worked out great.

Dear guests, my studio is available for you from time to time as I live between Paris and London. I am a writer and a translator. I have spent about fifteen years of my life abroad (Britain, North America, Asia). I have used Airbnb myself as a guest, so I am able to put myself in the shoes of most travellers and assist them accordingly to ensure that they have the best visit possible.
So, welcome, and enjoy Paris, I'll be very happy to have you as my guests.
