The studio is located in village Ramey, in the heart of Montmartre, which has a unique, authentic Parisian atmosphere, with lots of little cafés, boutiques and restaurants. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist circuit, even though it is only a 100 meters away from the Sacré Coeur basilica, the place du Tertre and a ten minute walk from the trendy Abbesses area. The cobble-stoned lane where it is located is typical of Montmartre, steep and winding ! with lovely trees.
Newstand, laundromat, bakery, restaurants, supermaket, grocery store, butcher’s shop, wine shop, cheese shop, local street market, gym, swimming pool, cinemas, theatres, and many lovely cafés . . .

ABOUT THE DEPOSIT
Hosts never handle the deposit, nor the payment, Airbnb does. The deposit won't actually be taken from your account by Airbnb. A few guests have reported that it has been, but it is very unlikely. On the day a guest leaves, Airbnb contacts the host to check that everything is ok. In case something is damaged, for instance, something worth 30 €, Airbnb will take 30 € from the guest's account.
This studio is the place where I live when I am in Paris. Please respect it as your own and respect my neighbours' peace.
CLEANING FEE AND MAINTENANCE OF MY STUDIO
I have normal, yet precise expectations about hygiene and cleanliness. If you feel you cannot respect them, DO NOT book my studio. If you do choose my studio and do not respect my expectations (= if extra cleaning is required), an additional charge of 35€/hour will be requested through Airbnb, plus dry cleaning fees when applicable.
CLEANING FEE :
A normal use of the studio necessitates between 45 minutes to one hour of cleaning. The cleaning fee includes :
- one hour of cleaning.
- cleaning of the bedding, mattress/pillow protectors and towels.
- hoovering and moping of the floor.
- cleaning and desinfecting of the kitchen area, and bathroom.
- emptying the bins.
- cleaning of mirrors and windows.
- dusting of furniture.
The cleaning fee DOES NOT include :
- any additional cleaning caused by carelessness or lack of hygiene or regular maintenance (stained duvet/pillows), scrubbing of the walls if stained (especially in the kitchen area and the toilet)
- any abnormal or excessive dirt (especially the toilet).
- washing dirty dishes left in the sink or badly washed.
MAINTENANCE OF MY STUDIO :
My guests are expected to maintain the studio regularly, especially if they stay for a long time.
FOR LONG-TERM STAYS, the cleaning fee includes the cleaning of "normal dirt". If the studio has not been regularly maintained and needs extra cleaning, an extra 35€/per hour will be requested, plus dry cleaning fees when applicable.
For security reasons, and to respect my neighbours'peace, ACCESS TO THE STUDIO IS NOT ALLOWED TO UNREGISTERED VISITORS. It is strictly forbidden to have unregistered guests staying overnight. You may, exceptionnally have a guest or a couple of nights, but additional payment is requested.
RESPECT FOR MY NEIGHBOURS :
Kindly show respect for my neighbours by being extra quiet in the stairs.
DO NOT SLAM THE DOOR, AVOID LOUD SPEAKING. Likewise, parties or gatherings with unregistered visitors are not permitted.
The studio is a NON-SMOKING place. Please respect the expectations of other guests and do not smoke inside the flat. If a smoking odor is present, the fabrics (curtains, couch cushions, sofa cover, mattress liners, etc.) will have to be professionally cleaned at the guests'expense.
I 've spent a great time in Juliette's Studio. She's a great host and sent a lot of information about the place beforehand, so everything was very clear and easy to understand. Although we haven't met personally, the communication about where to get the key and everything else was very good.
The Studio has everything in it what's needed for a weekend stay in Paris. The sofabed I found quite comfortable.
The Studio is in a nice area of Montmartre with many shops and restaurants around and I enjoyed to just walk around and explore everything by foot. In the attached map Juliette recommands nice places to go which I found helpful.
The neighbourhood is quiet (but not dead!) and friendly.
I would recommand this place to everybody looking for an authentic stay in Paris!
The apparent provided the perfect bohemian experience. Perfect un-touristy córner of Montmartre. I'll be back!
We had a great experience booking with Juliette. She answered all of our questions promptly and courteously. She has very specific instructions and we had no issues following them so we could access the apartment. The apartment is in a great location in Montmarte, we were able to access different metro stations from there. The apartment itself is pretty small so just like another reviewer mentioned, you do have to feel very comfortable with the person you are sharing it with. The bed could be a little more comfortable/newer, it seems to be collapsing in the middle already so I kept rolling into my husband. I would suggest bringing earplugs just in case as well. It might have been because we were there during New Year's week but there were a couple of parties/ loud music in the middle of the night in the building. New Year's early morning hours were actually dead silent which I thought was ironic :)
Other than that, everything was good. Great space to just come back and crash after a long day of walking and exploring.
Good things to note- this would not be the place to stay if you have any kind of mobility issues. The walk up the block is at an incline and there is no elevator in the building. The shower is pretty narrow to get into as well. Everything was clean and freshly washed upon our arrival though.
Thanks for hosting Juliette!
We enjoyed experiencing a slice of Parisian life, with the boulangerie, cafe and supermarket all around the corner. If you stick your head out the window you can get a glimpse of the sacre coeur (the cathedral at the top of the hill) which is a short walk away. The metro line 4 is handy and gets you into the city centre quickly.
Juilette provided excellent instructions and a very accurate description of her flat. I had no issues with the key/lock, nor did I have an issue with the small space- it was expected and fine for a weekend's stay! I only slept there- my days were spent in shops and cafes. Great location- 5 min to metro, about 20 min walk to SoPi. Of note, the area is more residential than touristy, as she describes. Unlike other stays in Paris, I didn't find a bread/pastry shop nearby, but I wasn't looking very hard- it was quite a rainy weekend and I generally just walked quickly to my destination! I would stay here again and recommend for anyone wishing to stay a bit away from the "big sights" but still wanting easy access to them via metro.
Excellent host! Juliette was fast to respond and very helpful. The apartment is exactly like the description lists it. Great neighborhood, easy access to the metro and markets. Very close to the Sacré-Cœur and Rue Lapic.
Juliette her place was super clean and very close to the metrostation. She responsed fast if you had some questions. I would recommed her place to everybody

Hello fellow travellers !
Welcome to my Airbnb profile. I am very happy to be a part of the Airbnb community and to share the accomodation I have on offer. I’ve been using Airbnb as a host and as a guest, so I am able to put myself in the shoes of most travellers and assist them accordingly to ensure that they have the best visit possible.
A bit about myself. I'm a writer and a translator. I've spent about ten years of my life abroad. I have lived in Scotland, England, Canada and South Korea. I've also spent a lot of time in south east Asia, especially India and Thailand. The wanderlust bug is still there, so I now spend half of my time in Paris, and the other half in London. So, welcome, and enjoy Paris, I'll be very happy to have you as my guest(s) !
