Had a great stay in Roberto's apartment. Has everything, close to metros, and good food and markets near. Roberto was also very kind and helpful with any questions i had. Great stay, thank you!
My stay at Roberto's place was nothing short of perfect. He was an amazing host and made my time in Paris a much easier and enjoyable one. He made it easy for me to get to his flat from the airport and was at the flat when I arrived. The flat was awesome and super clean and conveniently located in Paris close by to the metro, restaurants and grocery store. Plenty of room in the flat and it didn't feel so small like most Parisian flats do. I highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.
A pleasant stay at Roberto's cozy & nice studio. Roberto is a very nice & friendly host, he will help you in anything that he can to ensure you have a pleasant stay not only in his studio, but in Paris! Thank you Roberto!
Very cozy and comfortable apartment. It has everything you need. Convenient location on rue de Charonne. Supermarket across the road. thanks
This was the perfect stay from beginning to end. Roberto was an excellent host; he is incredibly accommodating, professional and dedicated to making sure you are satisfied with the apartment. He was quick to reply at the start and responsive in all our communication throughout the stay. The apartment is chic, clean, newly renovated, fully equipped, well-situated, smartly conceived, comfortable and quiet. I had a wonderful time in Paris in no small part due to my experience in this apartment. I cannot recommend it more.
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
There was a misunderstood on this reservation because of the 'Instant Book' feature I enabled. The guest was informed about the cancellation as soon as possible (the same day he booked). The setting for the 'Instant Book' has been amended permanently in order to avoid this kind of issues in the future. Feel free to contact me if you need more details on this.
My stay was perfect. The flat has everything you could possibly need which makes a trip a lot more enjoyable. I would recommend this apartment to anyone without a doubt! Great host!
I had a great stay at Roberto's flat. It's beautifully furnished with cool touch just as you see in the pictures. The flat has everything you need for a short or extended stay in Paris. Roberto was friendly and attentive host, taking time for me to get acquainted to the flat.
I would definitely try to stay there again on my next visit!
Robertos flat is very nice, no problem, I would recommend to a friend anytime, the washing machine was a nice feature
Where do I begin? I have been to Paris 4 times, always staying at the archetypal French hotel. Never again. I hope Roberto and his flat are the new normal for accommodation in Paris. His is a lovely 2 room place that had everything we needed for a fantastic stay.
What I wanted: a place near a Metro that had coffee and food nearby; in that order. It had to be quiet at night and safe. The internet and the washing machine were big pluses. We used both.
We got off the Metro and walked down to the flat, we passed every kind of store you could ever need: cheese, meats, breads, coffee. There was even a cyber cafe very close and these are getting harder to find. Also, there is a G20 market across the street that you will love. They are cheap and amazing. They had so much stuff tucked in to that tiny space that it was worth going as a interesting trip! Their produce was not as fresh as a produce-only store, but there were a couple of mouth watering produce places right on Charonne that were impressive.
Do not make me say this more than once: you will be able to buy good wine for about $1.50 at the G20. Have you booked your room yet?
You will know which bakery to hit because you will see the line. Do not miss the Picard store, located at the Charonne Metro. It is the European "Trader Joe's" only better. For very short money you can enjoy all kinds of frozen delights... bacon wrapped beans, ice creams, meats, soups, potatoes of all kinds. Really great since you have your own kitchen.
I was nervous about having only one cooking surface, but it worked like a charm because we usually ate pasta or bought a rotisserie chicken at the la boucherie... oh my gosh, the best chicken I have ever tasted. They stay open late, but do not push it, I think it closed at 8PM.
On Sunday we found a large flea market (mostly junk, but if you find that you did not pack for the weather you can find a cheap item here.. be prepared to bargain) along Bd De Charonne (a cross road east of Av Phillipe Auguste) and enjoyed the chicken kabobs. They also sell something that looks like a hotdog, it is beef and lamb and seemed to be very popular.
One item to take note of: this is a 5th floor walk up if you count using the American system. I counted, and you are pushing up 79 steps. It is a workout with luggage but was not really a big deal after the first trip. Going down is easier ; )
So, if you are looking for a quiet place to crash after a day of running around Paris, this place is perfect. Roberto could not have been more accommodating, I really felt so welcomed. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice to use with lots of hot water.
There were lots of great restaurants to eat, after all, this is Paris! We had one meal just on the other side of Voltaire that had really amazing quiche.
Also of note: a near by attraction is the Pere Lachaise cemetery where all kinds of famous people are buried. Seurat, Chopin, Oscar Wilde, Sarah Bernhardt, Marcel Marceau, and many others. Worth a stroll.
