I booked the house for a group of 8 adults (ages 30-50). Anna is a great host, communicating quickly with all my questions -- from months prior and nearly daily on our arrival. Even though Anna is based in Italy, she put us in contact with the Bahia Principe Club House for questions while onsite in Akumal. Being at this house on an inclusive properties has its advantages -- access to the other Bahia Principe resort beaches, pools, restaurants. We enjoyed the private pool very much -- which is as pictured! We had 4 adults in the room with 2 queens, and they were comfortable. The house is very roomy, lots of common space, so we didnt feel cramped at all. Adequate number of dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils for us. Lots of closet space. The AC kept us very comfortable inside. We enjoyed the house, but exploring the other Bahia Principe hotels and private beaches requires a 5-15 min shuttle, which gratefully runs all day/night. Onsite restaurants require pre-payment from the Club House. Tip: Use Sian Ka'an lobby as your nearby meeting spot for taxis, airport shuttles, tours -- as the house is tricky to locate for pickups. Tip: As soon as you arrive, get groceries as there are few restaurant options open late after 9p. We took a taxi to Chedraui, a large supermarket in Tulum, and stocked up for our stay. Tulum is a 20-30 minute drive to the south; while Playa del Carmen is about 45 minutes to the north.
