This 1950's mid-century modern architectural legacy is a true Palm Springs experience. Beautiful west-facing Alexander with great views of Mt. San Jacinto. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of the Racquet Club Estates District.
The house has been carefully renovated, very true to its original mid-century architecture. The large back yard, giving a desert palm oasis feel, is just as beautiful as the house itself.

This newly remodeled home holds its historic mid-century charm with its high ceilings, open floor plan and original features such as the kitchen, oven, bathrooms and wooden panels along the entry and hallway. The house is equipped with modern amenities including a dishwasher, WIFI, a Smart TV and outside grill - making the space a rich blend of modern convenience and historic architecture.

There are 3 bedrooms (2x queen beds, 1x king bed) with spacious closets and two small working desks, which make it easy to have some peace and quiet if work needs to be done. Additionally, there are 2 full bathrooms, one with private outside access, all in original mid century condition. The shower head might seem a bit low, but that’s typical of the 1950s and adds to the charm. We provide bath and pool towels along with a hair dryer. The kitchen, dining and living room seamlessly blend into each other, which makes for great conversation and cooking together. The kitchen is well equipped with mixer/blender, juicer, coffee machine, toaster, an essential spice collection, a new fridge with ice maker and new gas stovetop. Basic TV channels are provided. Netflix available.
The house is surrounded by beautiful desert landscapes, palm trees and olive trees. There is plenty of outdoor seating space, pool loungers, and an outdoor diningtable with BBQ. The pool is equipped with saline which makes it more enjoyable to swim and lounge in.

So, listen to the birds between the palms and cacti, enjoy the pool and mountain views or take the bikes and check out the mid-century architecture neighborhood. Sit inside after dark and watch the tram climb to the stars.

Guest must respect the tranquility of the neighborhood. The City of Palm Springs has strict noise regulations and requires all guests to sign a rules and regulations statement and a good neighbor policy addendum. Please read the rental agreement in full for terms & conditions. This is a legal document and you will be held responsible.

Optional pool heat is available for $45/night or $270/week (recommended November - April). Pool heat is only possible for the duration of the entire stay. Pool needs 24hrs to reach its temperature of 86 degrees, so it's advised to add / notify at time of booking or prior to check in, so the pool has reached the desired temperature by the time you arrive. However, if you choose to add pool heat after check-in, the amount will be charged via the resolution center. That includes the day the pool heat is turned on, so a minimum of 3 days. The pool is NOT fenced in, so be aware of that if you’re planning on coming with small children. Small children should never be left unattended.

Be advised that the Palm Springs rental ordinance does not allow us to rent to anyone under the age of 25. However, the owner reserves the right not to rent to anyone under the age of 30.
