It’s a Junior 1 Apartment Studio (that’s what we called it back home in NEW YORK). I like to call it THE LOFT here in SF ;) It’s got all the Luxury that it had in 1908 when it was built (Vintage Sink, Tub, windows, etc.) plus all the TECHY stuff that you’ll love. Additionally, the hallway and living space walls are home to Original pieces of artwork spanning the last 50 years of LGBT History. Think Tom of Finland. Men, Leather, Bulges....you get it?!

So, it’s got a full eat-in kitchen with a wonderful view of the Castro and the Historic Mission Dolores Church bell tower. The washroom has a corner sink and tile floors and features an original bear claw foot tub with shower.

Then we have the "Living Space”. Enjoy the morning sunrise view. Yes, you can see the sunrise so get your cameras ready! This room is Brightly lit from East facing windows. You may decide to spend your leisure time surfing the web on your laptop, and watching either the 49" HDTV with Apple TV, HBO and Chromecast or maybe taking a siesta on the 12” GEL MEMORY FOAM Mattress atop the PLATFORM BED. Listen to music through the surround sound speakers while lounging on the black leather (vinyl) couch.

One of my favorite things to do when the sun goes down is to explore the different scenes and light settings provided by Phillips Hue Lighting System. The entire house is automated but dont fret, if you are not tech inclined you can manually over ride them. Anyway, I think you’re gonna enjoy the space.

The Entire Apartment is included in the price. So that's the full Eat-in Kitchen, Full Bath and Living Room/Studio which is all separated by a well designed interior hallway. You have full access to the place except the owners Closet.
You will be greeted at check-in & checked-out by either myself or an appointed representative. Of course we will be available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for any emergencies or pressing issues that may arise during your stay. If there are questions, you may contact us via direct call or email. Those messages come to us via Airbnb, regular email, the Airbnb App, and a text message. So we are sure to get your message. You'll have our contact information on your reservation confirmation as well.

You have full access to the apartment except the closet.

Guest interaction is variable. I do include LIGHT housekeeping at least once per reservation ON SCHEDULED REQUEST ONLY and myself or another Host will Meet & Greet every Guest at Check-in AND Check-out. If entry is necessary by myself or other Host every attempt to reach the Guest(s) will be made so they are aware. Other than that, Please Enjoy my space,

Its Gay, its Eclectic, its Super Friendly, and theres always something to do! Oh, and they just COMPLETED the Castro Street Beautification project. Check it out.
Sweeping views and grand Victorians, pride of place and person coalesce in an area embracing the “gay capital of the world.” Castro, Diamond Heights/Twin Peaks, Glen Park, Noe Valley, Upper Market San Francisco’s historic F-Line streetcars are one of the best ways to reach the Castro and Upper Market areas. The Castro, known at the “gay capital of the world,” and nearby Noe Valley, offer village-like amenities including pedestrian-friendly streets, Victorian homes in historic Eureka Valley, an array of trendy stores and outdoor cafes for the “see and scene” crowd. The upper stretch of Market Street coils around the lower reaches of Twin Peaks. Noted for their sweeping vistas of the Bay Area, these crests are popular with sightseers. Glen Park on the lower slopes of Diamond Heights has a canyon park and is near a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station. “Did you know the exact center of San Francisco is located at 20th and Douglass streets?”

Yes! Three Minute Walk to The Subway and Steps from numerous buses. The Castro is a breeze when it comes to transportation. The 24-Castro, 33-Stanyan, 35-Eureka & 37-Corbett MUNI bus lines all have stops just a few blocks away from the Loft.

You are on vacation, and we hope and expect you to have a good time while visiting the Castro. Please keep in mind that the Castro Loft is located in an apartment building with neighbors next door, and below. We have set the occupancy at two guests, and request that the occupancy not be exceeded. If occupancy is found to be exceed the reservation guest count listed in the Airbnb contract, we will cancel your reservation immediately without refund. Keep the music and your voices to a moderate level, keeping in mind that its NOT a DOWNTOWN HOTEL, but a residential building. Be a responsible neighbor especially returning home late-nights during "after-hours" 2am to 8am. Also, the apartment has original HARDWOOD FLOORS, so we ask, PLEASE BE SURE TO REMOVE YOUR SHOES AS YOU ENTER THE HOME (especially high-heeled shoes for noise abatement concerns). Drew really came through for us at the drop of a hat, which we were so appreciative of. (Our previous host cancelled on us at the very last minute, and Drew worked with us and ultimately saved our trip!) His place is wonderfully modern and cozy. It is located a short walk away from the beautiful and iconic Castro Theater and other great places to Eat/Drink/Shop and explore. The apartment is also remarkably quiet which made for a beautiful nights rest. Also, the fresh breezes from multiple directions keep the place nice and cool, without the need of fans or ac. Great stay overall!

My stay was super. The flat is cozy and super comfortable. Harvey is a wonderful host. He accommodated my last minute booking and still met me at check in and was available immediately to help with anything. The location is perfect to use public transit, get some groceries and enjoy all that this part of the city has to offer. Would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay here. Harvey was a very welcoming and gracious host, and went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable check-in, even though we arrived very late in the evening. The place is cute and has quite a fun personality. Would stay again!

5 Things I cant live without: Humm....Chocolate Ice Cream, Friends, Sunday Brunch, Tuesday Mornings with my Donna and Dunkin Donuts Coffee!

I love PV, Mexico, Going Home to NYC, SOCAL for relaxing and New England for its beautiful Winter snow and mountains.
Love cheeseburgers and fries, Peanut Butter and Jelly and Chinese Food with a good white.
Ask the 100's of people who have been through my doors, I just love to make everyone feel comfortable and at home, Take your shoes off, slide on the wooden floors and Ill grab you a cold soda pop or fresh made Vanilla Iced Coffee (my own recipe). Oh and that goes for if I was the Host or the Guest :)
