Perfect downtown location, best place to discover all the little secrets Montreal has to offer. You'll be literally steps away from shopping, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, movie theatre, festivals... yeah, pretty much everything your little heart could desire. This apartment is actually located on Montreal's most famous street: Ste-Catherine. You'll be right close to Concordia University so there's always something happening in the area. Take a walk down Ste-Catherine for some shopping, hop down into the underground city, and stop on Crescent street for some delicious dining or a drink at one of it's numerous pubs and bars.
And who could ask for a better space? Open concept with one bedroom on split levels, I think the photos speak for themselves. You can sleep four people, 2 in the bedroom and two on the pull-out sofa. The kitchen's stocked with everything you need if you don't feel like eating out. There's also coin operated washer/dryer in the building if you need it.
You're right on Ste-Catherine, Montreal's major downtown artery for shopping and dining. A little oasis in a happening neighborhood!

My partner and I stayed at Maddie's loft for a night over the weekend and we found it amazing! Maddie was great about answering our questions promptly. We didn't meet her, but she gave us very clear directions and we had no trouble at all. The apartment had a fantastic location right in downtown (street noise was not a problem at all). It looked like it was freshly cleaned and was comfortable. We loved the loft layout and soon found ourselves daydreaming of living in such a place.
Some things to be aware:
- You'll need to walk up a few flights of pretty narrow stairs up to the apartment. There was a scent of cigarettes in the stairwell, but apartment was perfectly fine.
- Watch your head in the upstairs bed area. We were alright crouching and crawling around (my partner is 6 feet), but others with back problems may not.
- the steps up to the upper floor are very steep, so be careful if there are any balance concerns
- when we were there, a low rumble (sort of like a heater or a fridge) would start every couple of hours or so for half an hour. It seemed to be coming from something above the apartment? We weren't sure. We didn't find any trouble sleeping because it blended into the background, but those with sensitive sleeping may find it will wake them up when it starts.
Overall we loved the loft and found communications with Maddie very prompt and informative. We would definitely stay here again, given the chance.
Apartment was in a convenient location - in the heart of everything! Maddie was quick to respond to messages. Overall experience was great!
This is a fantastic place and is just as advertised. Nice location on the Chinatown side of Shaughnessy Village, just a few blocks away from all of the wonderful shops and pubs of Rue St. Catherine. Apartment is safe and clean, although the ceiling in the bedroom loft area is quite short and we could not get the TV to work, though that might have been our fault. For reference: hot is cold and cold is hot on the shower dial, but it works like a charm. Also, we were able to find free weekend parking on Rue Towers, just a few streets over. Overall, great apartment and great host. Maddie was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions promptly. Thank you!
Great place in the heart of Montreal. Simple, clean and comfortable. Worth the price! Had a good time on my business trip there.
The price and location were good. Close to lots of restaurants, and metro station. The key and entrance was easy and Maddie was great at replying quickly. The loft itself including the couch is in need of a good cleaning and the stairs are quite steep with a shelf in the way. The TV did not work and we could not find a kettle. The free wifi was quick and reliable. I would suggest parking at a nearby hotel (we found it as cheap as $9 for the whole day), and then it is free at night time on the street.
Maddie was a fabulous host - the apartment was super easy to find, and it was in a great location. Everything a travelled would need was there - plates, towels, etc! It was wonderful, cozy, and perfect for a vacation away. I highly recommend staying here, and if I ever need a place to stay in Montreal again I'll be contacting Maddie! Thanks for everything! :)
You can't the beat the location and price! Maddie was quick to respond to any questions. Only criticism was the loft bedroom ceiling was extremely low making it difficult to move around up there, as well as the stairs are steep and narrow so tall people would have a bigger issue. Pictures are a little outdated as the furniture is showing signs or wear and tear. Apartment could use a good deep clean as it was fairly dusty. All that being said it was still a great value for the location and size. In the middle of everything, close to the metro, and all stores.
Maddie's loft was very nice, and worth the money. It looked exactly like the photos. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to control the temperature to my liking. Good experience overall.
Maddie est une excellente hôte et répond très vite aux messages. Elle nous a donné un service impeccable! Les instructions pour accéder au loft étaient très claires. L'appartement est très bien situé et très propre. Merci encore!
AMAZING location!! Very nice apartment, clean and as advertised. Would definitely recommend it.
