This is a second storey walk-up 1 bedroom apartment with vintage inspired decor. A healthy environment is created using hardwood flooring in the living/dining room, kitchen and bedroom along with low VOC paints and being a pet-free and smoke-free property.
The Canadian-made bed is dressed with a cozy duvet and fresh, crisp linens.
The fully equipped kitchen has a full-size fridge and stove, perfect for making your own meals or snacks.
A private bathroom with luxurious heated marble floors has a combination shower and bathtub.
Unwind on the private rooftop deck overlooking the beautiful Trent River. This is the perfect spot to enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the boats go by during the daytime and to view amazing evening sunsets.

Very clean, beautifully furnished and fully equipped suite. Perfect for our little weekend getaway and would be so comfortable for a longer stay. Lovely location and view on the river.

This place was perfect. Check in was easy same as checking out. Everything was as advertised. I came to go hiking as was able to walk to the places I desired. Very clean place. Highly recommend

Don's and Nancy's place is the best. They thought of all of the extras that you might want! It feels like home at their apartment. There is nothing more we would want!

We had a wonderful stay at Don's lovely place, in Cambellford. The apartment is beautiful, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities one could hope for. When we inquired about restaurants and coffee shops, Don was very helpful. The view, from the deck overlooking the water is beautiful. A great place to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. The apartment is within walking distance to everything and is very quiet. We hope to stay there again.

A bit ambivalent: the flat itself is really nice like on the pics, very comfy & absolutely clean, there is even coffee etc. and it was very easy to communicate with Don to arrange checkin time. What made me feel really strange was, that I had to give Don my credit card number PLUS the CVV code directly at the beginning (for unlimited deposit). We had a discussion that I really do not feel good about this and that it is a no go to give away the CVV code (at least in europe as you can go shopping in the internet with it) and that there is an option on AirBnB where he can say how much deposit shall be saved on the credit card as a deposit. He did not know about this, although he is hosting for several years, and said until now it was fine for every guest. So I had to believe it, it was in the middle of the night and I could not intervene as fast as he had written down the code. So it was too late anyway. I am sure he will change this - now that I told him about this deposit feature in AirBnB, but for me it felt really strange. Furthermore I was just expecting a more quiet place from the description. I had to close the windows at night as the outside AC from the other houses was damn loud. Also on the balcony there was the neighbours AC directly working and blowing next to the chairs. Don can not change this, I just think it is important to mention if someone is also looking for a more quiet and relaxing, peaceful place.

Unfortunately we cannot control noise from air conditioning units in neighboring buildings nor the location of them. The neighbours unit closest to the balcony is a new installation last month & also beyond our control. We imprint credit information for several reasons: I.D., proof of check-in and also for security. This is all shredded after the check-out inspection is completed. This has worked well for us and to date we have never had a need to process any damages, ...either because all our guests are great or because they recognize a damage liability is in place and there is a need to act responsibly. We do appreciate your feedback, thank you.

Great clean and cozy place with an awesome view of the river. Great for two people. Walkable to nearby restaurants. Checkin was a breeze.

Avid foodies, my wife and I have owned gourmet kitchen stores for 30 years. The apartment is above our most recent store in Campbellford. I am also a bicycle fan and mountain bike in our local provincial forest most days (I just love it). We find most guests just want to enjoy themselves but we are always available for a glass of wine.
