I love this Casita. It is quiet, safe, and 2 blocks from Western New Mexico University's world-renowned Mimbres Pottery Museum. The Casita has a beautiful kitchen, for those who love to cook, and is cleaner than anywhere I have ever stayed. Enjoy!

L'alloggio

So quiet, comfortable, custom built, very clean! Claw-foot tub, (fold out hide-a-bed, for extra sleeping surfaces if needed.)

Accesso ospiti

Guests have access to full kitchen, stocked with pots pans blender, juicer, etc, free wifi, outdoor garden and patio, and proximity two blocks from the university and walkable to downtown, and also far enough away for peace and quiet. The perfect location.

Interazione con gli ospiti

We shall interact only when necessary :) Also, next door lives my amazing mom. She is a bright light, and if you need anything, you can knock on her door and she will gladly help you out.

Altre cose da evidenziare

Other than lots of space for your car in driveway, there is plenty of on street parking, too.

Jason's mom was our host at the casita. She's warm and wonderful. The casita is beautifully laid out. All the comforts of home and even though it's not a big space it seems spacious because of the tall ceilings and thoughtful planning that went into creating this place. We wanted for nothing here. There is a courtyard in front and back - lots of nice flowers and edible plants. We were invited to help ourselves to the raspberries and arugula. It's located close to the university and walking-distance to downtown. A supernova in the airbnb universe.

We stayed for a month in the casita while we explored the area and it was the perfect place to call home. The casita is well constructed, comfortable, and attractive. There is a nice bathroom with claw foot tub/shower, a roomy closet with hangers and a dresser, and the main living space has a queen bed, sofa and chairs, and a dining area. Although it's a compact space it is well designed and worked great for the two of us including all of our stuff. The kitchen in particular is well equipped and we were able to cook and bake as much as we liked. The location is convenient and peaceful. It's an easy walk into town or to the college and the area itself is pleasant to walk around in. Lynn was wonderful and helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommended for a short or long stay, especially if you want to get a feel for what it would be like to live in the area.

The Garden Casita is a beautiful little oasis in the heart of Silver City. It is spacious and quiet. Really comfortable, comfy bed, with nice linens and a clawfoot tub. It was lovely to wake up and open your front door to be greeted by a garden. Jason was the perfect host; he and Lynn were very welcoming. I didn’t want to leave.

I can’t speak highly enough about Jason and the Garden Casita! The casita itself is lovely and extremely comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are beautifully designed and well stocked with anything you might need. The casita is surrounded by a sweet patio and gardens on both sides. Its quiet, peaceful and Jason’s welcoming hospitality infuses the whole environment with a terrific spirit! On my last day, I had trouble leaving. It’s the sort of place that holds you in it’s grips. I can’t wait to return!

The Garden Casita was a great place to stay in Silver City during the Tour of the Gila. The place had everything I needed, it was stocked with some food and coffee, it was very quiet and in a central location. I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful place! The host Jason and his mom were super nice.

Jason was awesome. Anticipated my needs like extra towels etc. While this casita is on the same property as the main house Jason respected my privacy also - a perfect balance. The place was great and exactly as I expected. Thanks - AL
