Welcome Home to the cozy Rose Room (see the second photo). Please be patient if we do not respond to right away to your booking request ~ we don't text, so we will check for your message in the morning and evening Monday to Saturday (we keep silence on Sundays). Thank you!
Looking for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing home away from home to help you to rebalance after a busy day? The Rose Room is a cozy bedroom for 1 or 2 people. If you need wheel chair access we would take one bed out ~ please make a note of that for us. It has its own thermostat for air conditioning and heating (just added!), a ceiling fan and an armoire. It faces south, and west -- looking out into the woods to the side that provide shade in the summer. Located in the newer, more secluded, wheelchair accessible lower level wing, next to the Daffodil Room and across the hallway from the wheelchair-accessible bathroom, which has a roll-in shower.
More about the Centre:
We are here for you! The Self Realization Meditation Healing Centre is a 501C3 nonprofit meditation, healing, teaching & retreat center.
We have five guest bedrooms: two are cozy with two twin beds (only the Rose Room is currently listed with airbnb, if you're interested, please ask ~ if the other room(s) are available we will open them up for you to reserve here), two are medium size with one or two twin beds and we have three shared bathrooms. Our large Lily Suite bedroom has three twin beds, a writing table, a walk in closet and a private bathroom with a lovely jetted tub ~ the nearest shower is in the shared bathroom just across the hall. The lower level is handicap accessible, including the entrance, meditation room, two of the bedrooms (we would take out one of the beds in this case) and a bathroom with a roll-in shower. The upstairs living & dining rooms are not wheelchair accessible, so tray meals would be brought to your room. Teas & cookies are available throughout the day, and a wholesome, vegetarian breakfast* is included. Keys are not available to the Centre; the bedroom doors have a pass-through locking knob.
The Centre is nestled in a beautiful hardwood forest. The forest shade helps keep us cool in the summer, we have ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and a window A/C in the living/dining room to help during humid/hot weather. (The Rose Room and Daffodil Room each have new, very quiet, individual heating and air conditioning controls right in their rooms!) The Centre features quiet sitting areas indoors and out including a three season porch, front porch overlooking the garden and pond, and a meditation room ˜ which all are welcome to use for silent prayer and meditation.
We welcome you to make yourself at home in the common areas. The kitchen and laundry facilities are not available to guests.
