This is one of the most beautiful palaces on Via del Portico d'Ottavia, it used to be a convent at the beginning of 1400 and today, in what used to be the ancient chapel, there is this small gem for those who want to visit Rome, with the main landmarks within a walking distance.
The apartment is located on the first floor of a two story palazzo of the 14th century. It has two rooms. The first room has an entrance, and the kitchen and dining room on downstairs, and since ceilings are 6meter high, two single beds on the mezzanine above. In the second room there is the living room and bathroom, and a double bed and drawers on the mezzanine above it. A small doorway without the actual door leads from one room to the other. Each room has a big window and there is wifi internet access in the apartment.
Guests will walk into a palazzo of astonishing beauty. Walking up to the first floor (there is of course no elevator in such an ancient building, and the palazzo has a total of two floors), the apartment lies within the silent courtyard. The apartment was completely refurbished in 2001 and there is a fully equipped kitchen, a chic bathroom with a big shower and a living room on the ground floor, and two separated sleeping rooms on the mezzanine of each of the two 8 meter high rooms. A washing machine is at guests disposal, so is internet (no TV).
Altre cose da evidenziare
The apartment is perfect for up to four people, and there are no other sleeping possibilities.
Guests should respect the history of the palazzo, and the neighbors, not be too loud after 11pm, and switch off the heating and washing-machine when leaving the apartment.
