5-bedrooms, 3-baths this waterfront gem has it all. When we say LOCATION, LOCATION is what we mean. Situated on the banks of Rocky Broad River in Chimney Rock, you can sit on the back porch, enjoy the sounds of the river as your morning wake up call, and watch the sun rise over Chimney Rock State Park. Or walk to the village of Chimney Rock enjoy a full day of shopping and eating, ending the day with a few adult beverages of your choice, whether it is wine at Burntshirt winery or Hickory Nut Gorge Brewery. (fun fact: Both are locally owned and made). Explore the Towns of Lake Lure, Tryon (if you love horses or happen to be competing at the Tryon International Equestrian Center just a short 20 minute drive away) or plan a day trip to Asheville just 24 miles away! This historic home offers beautiful details throughout its 1800+ sq ft of living space. Refinished hardwood floors, a modern kitchen with glimpses into the past. With 5 spacious bedrooms there are sleeping arrangements for 9 guests. Stunning views of the river and mountains from almost every room, and all the comforts of home.

The main level master bedroom features a queen bed with a private en-suite bath and walk in shower located just off the living room. It also offers stunning views of the river. Take the stairs up a short flight to the next bedroom and you will fina anothe queen bed with private access to a second bathroom. This bathroom is shared with the 3rd guest bedroom with queen bed. This second shared bathroom has a large soaking tub, bidet, and separate walk in shower, both bedrooms have their own entrances to the bathroom.

Just down the hall is the 4th guest bedroom with 2 twin beds. The 3rd bathroom is located just off the hall between the twin room and the 2 queen bedrooms. The last guest bedroom is a hidden gem. If you have children it is a fun hid and seek game to play and see if they can find it. There is a paneled door just off the twin room, if you don't pay attention you will miss it....this will lead you upstairs to the 5th guestroom with a single twin bed. This room is perfect for that person who wants to have some quiet time or needs the quiet to sleep. Its the perfect sleeping nook.

Back to the main level...with a cozy living room you can gather around to watch a little TV but why? when you have all that incredible nature just waiting for you just outside that door. The living room features a sofa, armchair, and flat-screen satellite TV. With an open plan through to the dining area a large oak table is the perfect place for the family to gather to share the days adventures and plan for tomorrow.

Just a few steps down and you are in a large modern kitchen...with a fireplace. Stainless appliances, well stocked cookware, utensils, and everything you need for a family gathering. If you need just a little more room for 2 more people we have that too...through the kitchen door you will find a path to the Stone cottage, a one bedroom one bath cottage perfect for a solo traveler or couple. (Please keep in mind, it may be rented to another guest and you will share some access to the river, we just ask that you be respectful of each other)

VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum overnight occupancy limit for this home is 9 persons. You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages.



DESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. Contact your rental's property manager for offsite, overflow parking options. There is parking for 3 vehicles.at this property



TRASH DISPOSAL: All household waste & trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids).



MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in.



NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, or any similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes.



FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief.



LAKE ACTIVITIES: Swimming: Do not swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat. Fishing: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply. Boating: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina.



PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing - Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be accessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door while smoking on property.



NOISE: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10 p.m. and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake.



UNRULY BEHAVIOR: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced.



PETS: Pets are not allowed in our homes. CATS ARE NOT ALLOWED



You will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement before your reservation is secured. Your total amount listed on the Mr Lake Lure® Vacation Rental Agreement may be different than the amount paid to the 3rd party site you book through. All third-party sites charge differing amounts as service fees to guests for using their services. We have no control over those fees and do not collect them.


CHECK IN: 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., local time (or later) at Mr. Lake Lure® Vacation Rentals office. This is the only time our office is staffed for check ins. If you plan on arriving later than 7:00 p.m. please let us know so that we can make appropriate arrangements of access to your rental.
CHECK OUT: 10:00 a.m. local time (or earlier) at Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals office.


In addition to the rent, the following charges apply:
- $45.00 Accidental Damage Protection which covers up to $1500.00 in accidental damages (non-refundable.) Any damage that exceeds $1500.00 will be the responsibility of the leaseholder/guest. Not applicable for AirBnB reservations
- $175.00 Cleaning Fee

- 6% Rutherford County Occupancy Tax
- 7% NC State Sales Tax
- $50.00 minimum fee will be assessed for failure to properly remove/dispose of garbage from home (to avoid this fee, simply follow the Arrival/Departure Instruction sheet provided upon check-in and posted at the home)
- Cancellation / Transfer Policy: If a confirmed reservation is canceled or transferred at least 30 days prior to arrival, a processing fee of $50.00 and a $50.00 reservation fee plus applicable North Carolina State Sales Tax will be charged against the Advance

Check in time is 3 pm to 7 pm at our Office Address:109 Arcade Street, Lake Lure 28746. We are located downtown Lake Lure across from the Lake Lure Beach and Water park in the 1927 Arcade Commerce Building. (next door to Carolina Trust Bank) this is the only time our office is staffed for check ins. IF YOU PLAN ON ARRIVING AFTER 7 pm you will need to submit a photo of your driver's license, make, model and tag of vehicles. DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO PROPERTY!! If you go to a property prior to approval from our office, before check-in time you will be accessed an early check-in fee $25.
