We've put a lot of love into making our apartment feel like home, and our neighbourhood is a great base for chilling out, enjoying great bars and restaurants or travelling around town (the direct train to the airport is two metro stops away). Enjoy!

We've renovated a sweet and spacious Paris apartment in a great area by the canal. There's kitsch wallpaper, surround sound Blu-ray, free wi-fi and a lot more so that your stay will be as comfortable as possible!

The apartment sleeps up to four people, making it a great choice if you're travelling as a family or with relatives. A baby bed is also available

All the details, rates, availability and secure online booking are on our website: (URL HIDDEN)

We are two individuals (not a faceless agency) who love Paris and are happy to share our passion with others! We have just two apartments to rent in the city, and we've put our heart and soul into both of them!

Hopefully, our care and attention to detail can be felt, and we hope to be able to welcome you to our Canal Apartment in Paris sometime soon!

In the living room:

- flatscreen Panasonic TV

- Panasonic surround sound Blu-ray/DVD/CD system

- iPod dock

- cable TV with English-language channels

- free broadband wi-fi access (bring your own laptop)

- large sofa that can also double as a sofabed

- glow-in-the-dark wallpaper (!) and old school French fittings

In the bedroom:

- comfy double bed

- storage space for clothes, wardrobes for hanging clothes

- the kitschest wallpaper you've ever seen in your life

- a duck! (see photos)

In the kitchen:

- dishwasher

- microwave oven

- gas hob and oven

- refrigerator with freezer section

- washing machine

In the bathroom:

- shower

- towel heater

- toilet

- kitsch dog picture with rabbits!

Plus, double glazing and central heating throughout.

We've done as much as possible to make the apartment eco-friendly. All our electricity comes from renewable sources and all cleaning products are eco-friendly.

No animals were harmed or used for our bedding.

For this apartment, we really wanted somewhere that would feel cosy and fun: the parquet is original and restored, the wallpaper in the living room glows in the dark (totally safe) and we've tried to make the place as colourful and bright as possible.

There are three large windows that look out onto the street, but it's calm, and the double glazing reduces any noise to almost silence. If you look out the window to the right, you'll see the bridge over the canal. There's only one canal in Paris, and it's lovely to have nearby.

The area nearby has loads of great boutiques and restaurants too, plus we're within easy walking distance of Gare du Nord (Eurostar, Thalys trains to Brussels, Cologne and Amsterdam, direct links to both airports...) and Gare de l'Est.

This is the area that we live in and love, and we hope you'll love it too.

Hi, I'm Jason!

I'm English, but have lived in Paris for twenty years now, and still love the city.

I'm a bit of a geek - love my Mac, my surround sound Blu-ray system, etc. but also like photography, swim a bit and have a ridiculously large collection of CD and vinyl (some of which you'll find in the apartment!). Much of it hasn't aged very well :-(

I work from home and love it - the time goes so quickly!

And after having worked in hotels many years ago, I was almost surprised to enjoy looking after our guests - I thought it might become repetitive and boring, but every person is different, and we're lucky enough to have so really adorable people come to stay, so it's a joy to rent the apartment! If I didn't love it, I wouldn't do it.

I also especially like sharing my love of Paris with people. Having lived here so long, there are loads of great places we go that you might not pick up on from a guide book, and our area is full of funky bars and restaurants. We're happy to share our insider knowledge. Just ask :-)
