Sophie did not show up for our arrival. She sent her "boyfriend". This resulted in a bad start that ended with our leaving the property after the first night and checking into a hotel, never to return. The apartment was not as clean as other AirBnB places we have rented. This is not a dedicated apartment for rent, as you may perceive it to be based on the photos. This apartment is lived in full time, and resembles more of a place a college student lives. The bed is inexpensive and uncomfortable. There are no fresh guest linens, the bed quilt was wrinkled and looked like it had been used the previous night by someone else. The pillows were very poor, thin, and old. There was no top sheet on the bed. There were no spare blankets in the apartment, and it was cold. The towels were old, left messily folded in a basket in the bathroom with the owners towels. The clever apartment photos do not highlight the bare bulb light and its wires hanging out of the wall in the kitchen, with another similar fixture problem in the bathroom. The owners laundry was left in the washer/dryer. The sofa in the "living" room is not full size, it is hard and uncomfortable. We received only one key, so we could not separately come and go from the apartment independently- having to coordinate when we would both arrive back. With the poor bed and linens, the overall condition of the apartment and concerns over bed cleanliness, we did not feel comfortable remaining in the apartment. We left the key on the kitchen table the next morning, and checked into the Marriott. I would not recommend this place to any adult leisure traveler. Maybe a traveling student would find it ok. The owner is clearly inexperienced in the area of hospitality.
