My host made me feel very welcome. After more than 12 hours of flight, he really made me feel like home despite how nervous I was. He even made a small booklet for me to tell me how to navigate through his house and through the neighbour. He detailed in that where and how should I buy stuff in case I need any. He even gave me my space in the wardrop and even the fridge and labeled anything that need labeling.
The apartment is marvelous and was spotless, they are a very clean and organized couple in terms of everything (living room, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping room). Almost everything you need is already there in the apartment, and my host made it clear where and how to get it. There is a small garden as a back yard as well which is a good way to relax. In case there is any issue, he was very quick and fair in resolving it for me.
The neighbour is a little old but still very safe and lovely. It has also a very welcoming Muslim minority as well. And almost everything you need is reachable within no more than 5 minutes of walking or less including cheap and good places to eat and to shop for groceries. The bus stop 5A is within walking distance. This bus can go all the way to the airport if you wanted to going through the old city as well. The Apartment is at Zone 4 which is a good thing in terms of public transportation costs.
