Moran's apartment is charming and even nicer than the pictures - for instance he has replaced the couch with a new and more attractive one, including a comfortable lounger that I fell asleep on many times. It's both retro and filled with personal touches, making it very evident that it is a real home. The location is great, on a very quiet street in an upscale part of town, but only 2' minutes walk from the heart of North Tel Aviv at Rabin Square, and many bus transportation options. The beach is an easy 15 minute walk along the adjacent Sd. Ben Gurion, one of Tel Aviv's loveliest boulevards. Moran himself is charming and very responsive, with quick answers from both North America and locally; and very accessible. He is also very generous about flexible check-in and check-out times; and there were many nice little touches, like providing capsules for a Nespresso-style coffee maker and stocking the fridge with some basics. He has a chef's kitchen with every utensil imaginable if you cook seriously. The BR and LR have very efficient AC for those considering a summer stay; and the bed was extremely comfortable, and I am a light sleeper. Finally, the flower-filled porch is a huge bonus - it was a pleasure to sit outside with a breakfast roll in the morning or a cup of tea at night; and the bedroom opens directly onto the porch as well when you want to stumble off to bed. Highly recommend Moran's apartment!
