Our arts and crafts family home is ten minutes walk from the sea and the centre of Brighton. There is an unusually large 'secret' garden with large terrace, sundown area, fire pit and orchard. Situated on beautiful Queens Park and close to Kemp Town.
The garden is unusual for a Brighton property - it's a fantastic place to sit out at night, round the fire or catching the last of the evening's sun. It's also really sheltered by day and is a real sun trap. If you have kids you may lose them for days.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen, large dining room, living room, conservatory and garage with table tennis and table football. On the first floor is the master bedroom with changing room and ensuite, a double guest room, a large room with a single bed and a small single which is our 7 year olds room with a high sleeper (its actually an adult single size). On the second floor there is another double. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Can accommodate extra kids on the second floor.
Guests have access to the whole house and garden with the exception of a small office.

Betty the cat lives on site and comes and gos.
No stag and hen dos. It's a quiet area so please keep noise down at night. No pets. No smoking in the house, but fine in the garden. You can use the fire pit in the garden after 7pm, please don't leave it alight unsupervised. Make sure you lock all the doors when you go out and close all windows.
Lynda and I both come from Herefordshire, it's one of the least known counties in England, beautiful and rural, it runs along the border with Wales. It explains why we fell in love with this house with its wild and magical garden. We've lived in Brighton for 12 years and love its quirks, it's community spirit and arty aspirations, not to mention the sea. One of our favourite things to do is a splash and dash - meeting up with friends for a morning swim and coffee or best of all watching the sun go down with burgers and a fire. I am an all weather cyclist and there's some great routes here - an early morning cycle along the coast to Newhaven or Shoreham will definitely blow the cobwebs away.
