If you love a holiday home with lots of character but don't want to compromise on comfort and style, look no further than Ty Sara.

Built in local stone, dating from around the 1900's, this superb two-bedroom cottage has been beautifully renovated and refurbished. The stunning property features bi-fold doors that open out onto a patio, so you can take full advantage of sunny days. And there's a llving flame log burner in the sitting room, so you'll feel cosy any time of the year.

Lo spazio
Relax in the comfy sofas in the spacious sitting room, where a cosy living flame gas fire provides welcome warmth on cooler evenings. There's also a Freeview TV, DVD player, and docking station for ipod and MP3 players.

In the kitchen/diner you can open the wide, bi-fold patio doors and let the sunshine flood in. You'll feel like you're al fresco dining - while staying indoors. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, fridge (with freezer compartment), dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The dining table seats four, a high chair is available and there's also a radio.

The ground-floor bathroom is fitted with a modern suite and a separate shower cubicle. A gas-fired boiler gives you a constant supply of hot water.

Upstairs are the two bedrooms. The double bedroom, at the front, enjoys a sunny southerly aspect and a cot is available on request.

The twin bedroom, at the back of the cottage, faces north and has a distant view of the imposing craggy hill, Carn Llidi.

Outside is a large patio and gravelled courtyard garden, where you can admire distant views of the sea and relax at the garden table and chairs. What's more, there's an outdoor tap and hose, handy for washing out your wetsuits etc.

There's no parking directly outside the cottage, although you can load and unload. Unrestricted street parking is available nearby.

Dove ti troverai

Saint Davids, Galles, Regno Unito

Situated in Bryn Road, a quiet street close to the centre of St Davids, Ty Sara is just short walk from the city's many attractions.
The cottage's central location means you can leave your car behind and explore picturesque St Davids on foot. Must-see attractions include the magnificent 12th - century cathedral and the medieval ruins of the Bishop's Palace, and there are also shops and galleries well worth browsing.
And with all that sightseeing, you're sure to work up an appetite - and a thirst. Luckily, there are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants to keep you refreshed.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes close by, where you can take in the fresh air and spectacular coastal scenery, while looking out for wildlife.
And when it comes to beaches, you'll be spoilt for choice, such as Whitesands Bay, a wide expanse of fine white sand that is popular with families and watersports enthusiasts.
Also nearby is the picturesque harbour of Porthclais, on the tip of the St Davids Peninsula, where the River Alun enters the sea.

Hello, I'm John. I'm lucky that I've lived in Pembrokeshire all my life, so I know this beautiful county extremely well. I can often be found walking along the magnificent coastline. I love watching the wildlife, taking photographs and meeting people. As a host, I look after other people's homes as if they were my own. And because I live and work locally, I'm available if you have any questions or need any help during your stay (and I'm happy to recommend some fantastic places to visit while you're here). I can be reached either by phone, email or in person. I want your break to be everything you want it to be, and to leave happy.
