Risposta di Virginia:
First of all, we are sorry to hear that your experience at our house was not what you expected. In regards to your claim, we wish to say that the house is fully cleaned before all guests arrive. We understand your point however we would expect that if the house was dirty upon arrival you should have mentioned it at the owners who welcomed you.
One can see from the pictures that this is a traditional island home were windows ventilate the entire place, so dust will most certainly appear within a long stay during summer. Let me also remind you that you were 9 instead of 6 guests (originally registered at the booking) which we accepted without any extra fees and as we knew that the house would be at full capacity we suggested a cleaning service for the rest of the days, which you denied.
In terms of the bed bugs, it sounds extremely serious yet we have not received such complain before and it surprises me because as I mentioned in the beginning we dust, mop & hoover the entire house, so we will need to investigate this matter further. For that purpose we will need the contact of the doctor who you visited.
We feel that welcomed you and made you feel comfortable at our house. We searched for cribs, made you aware that reservations would be needed at the restaurants and proceeded in making these reservations for you. We happily did these small extras, just to make you feel happy and comfortable.
The house was in a tremendous mess when you left, as you left all doors open and we are lucky nobody entered the property. Cushions and toys were on the floor in the living room as well as shoe marks on the covers of the couches. We received complaints from the restaurant Tarsanas, which we had booked for you for the day of the Armata (the busiest night of the year) and you never had the courtesy to call us or the restaurant back after repeated msgs & calls to say that you would not show up.
We value guest feedback and we always do our best to keep our visitors happy. It's certainly a pity it was a bad experience for all of us but we hope we can find a solution that works for both.
