This beautiful and peaceful place is located at the heart of it all! from there, you will be able to enjoy the daily outdoor market in the old part of the city, shop for flowers, fresh local and regional produce, souvenirs and much much more!
The famous Promenade des Anglais is also within a 5 mins walk. Same for the gorgeous Opera House in the Vieux Nice; you can then walk to the Marina, the Antiques district and the busy Rue de France where street animations are held during the high season. Finally, from your home, you have easy access by train to Monaco, Cannes and Italy.

For your arrival to Nice Etoile from the airport you have taxis, and buses which go direct to the centre of Nice.
From the bus stop you take the Tram ( or walk) to the station Jean Médecin.
From the Nice central train station you can walk or take the tram to the front door.
I will be at the apartment to greet you upon your arrival and answer your questions.
You are located in the centre of Nice. The street at the front of the building is the main shopping street of Nice. It is modern, clean and tidy.
The apartment is on the top floor at the back of the building, hence quiet and offering fantastic views of Nice.
The up market shops are in the building and the area has plenty of restaurants and bars.
It is short walk to the main tourists areas and beaches.
The Jean Medecin Tram Station is directly opposite the front door.
Promende des Anglais and the beaches are 5 minute walk. Old Nice is also 5 mins walk. The port of Nice is 10 minutes.
Nice Central train station is also only 5 minutes or one stop on the tram.
The minimum of the overnight stays:
3 nights January- April;
4 nights May - December.
All guests are required to arrive before 2100.
CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
I am offering you a friendly and cosy, quality apartment - my home, and I want that you really enjoy staying here. As have all my previous guests.
To assist me in achieving this goal, I kindly ask that you respect and honour a couple of basic rules during your stay.
In general, I would expect normal responsible adult behaviour with respect for my property, the environment and neighbours.
Guests must ensure that no damage to the property or its contents occurs intentionally or due to negligence. In case of any damage, you are obliged to report it to me and you accept that you will be charged accordingly and have to make payment prior to departure.
In the case of any problems or damage, please call me on my mobile (phone number hidden) or on that of my daught(phone number hidden). But respect I work and she is studying so unless extremely urgent, please not after 22h00 or before 07h00.
DEGRADATION OF GOODS OR REAL:
The host must ensure that no damage to the property of the apartment occurs intentionally or due to negligence. In case of damage, we will be obliged to charge degradation made by the host in the apartment is that it occurred before or after his departure.
It is important to report problems immediately, calling me on my mobile (phone number hidden) or on that of my daught(phone number hidden).
USE OF PREMISES
Cleanliness: You will arrive to a very neat and clean apartment. It is my wish that you endeavour to keep it this way. I appreciate that we do not all have the same high standards but any mess will attract a higher cleaning fee.
DURING THE STAY:
Ensure that the water faucets are still closed
Turn off lights and other equipment (computers, TV ..) when you are not using it or when you go out.
Be careful not to lose the keys to the front door.
Always use a protective bag before using the trash
Drain completely and absolutely the fridge and freezer
Wash your dishes and emptying machines (dishwasher and washing machine)
Down absolutely garbage.
The apartment is strictly non-smoking place, therefore, it is forbidden to smoke inside the apartment and throughout the building. Also it is forbidden to throw cigarette butts or other objects on the floor in the apartment and balcony.
No presence of animals is allowed not only in all parts of the apartment and balcony, but in all common areas of the building.
A wireless connection is at your disposal for the duration of your stay.

Sylvie's flat was perfect for our four night stay in Nice. Upon arrival, she met us outside the apartment, gave us a quick overview of the amenities, and was extremely responsive throughout our stay for any questions that arose (no matter how trivial).
The flat itself was beautiful. The balcony is stunning and the view from the 6th floor is breathtaking. We had very nice weather during our trip, so breakfast in the sunshine, or a glass of wine to end the evening, were great uses of the expansive balcony.
The pull-down bed was very comfortable, no complaints. The shower was fantastic, and the kitchen offered all amenities we could need to cook meals. All of the knives/pots/pans were high quality and great for cooking a meal or two at home.
The location was also very convenient. A five minute walk to the train station allowed us to do day trips to other nearby towns, and a 10 minute walk to the beach (or 20 minutes to the pier) made everything very accessible.
Truly, we would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone considering visiting Nice!

I was in this flat for 4 nights. This is the best flat we have ever rented.
We came very late at night and Sylvie's daughter was there to greet us. She is very nice and friendly.
The apartment was fantastic and very clean. It has everything there you need and more. The bathroom is fantastic and the balcony is just incredible.
It is also in the centre of NIce which is just fantastic.
If you are going to NIce, France this apartment is definitely one to look at renting.

J'étais dans cet appartement pour 4 nuits. C'est le meilleur plat que nous ayons jamais loué.
Nous sommes arrivés très tard dans la nuit et la fille de Sylvie était là pour nous saluer. Elle est très gentille et amicale.
L'appartement était fantastique et très propre. Il a tout ce qu'il faut et plus encore. La salle de bain est fantastique et le balcon est tout simplement incroyable.
Il est également dans le centre de Nice, qui est tout simplement fantastique.
Si vous allez à Nice, France Cet appartement est certainement l'un de regarder location.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. It is in a very central position above the busy shopping centre but once you are up there you wouldn't know it. The balcony makes the living space seem much larger. There was some noise during the day from the school below, but as we were out most of that time it wasn't a problem. Sylvie was very kind and let us have a late checkout as we had a late flight home and noone was coming into the apartment that day.
We could get to the sea, the old Town and trains and buses within a few minutes walk from the apartment so it is in a very good position.

I stayed in Sylvie's apartment for a week (19th - 26th Aug)
The apartment was delightful. Everything was exactly as it is in the pictures. The apartment is small but with the huge balcony you don't feel cramped. The bathroom is a really good size too, the shower has strong pressure and is quite a fancy spa shower!
The balcony is amazing.
The bed was incredibly comfortable which for a pull down was a big surprise! But it was just as good as a normal free standing bed.
It was nice and peaceful in the flat and having Monoprix right on the doorstep was a god send! The kitchen is very compact and small and as I am not much of a cook I didn't really try to make any fancy dinners. But it was fine for my basic needs.
It was about a 7 min walk to the beach which was ideal.
The first night I was there the air conditioning unit decided to stop working but Sylvie was contactable straight away and the next morning she had an engineer out and by the time I got back from the beach it was fixed and working well.
The washing machine worked well and it was great to have the use of that with clothes drying so quickly in the sun on the balcony.
The ice machine in the kitchen was a nice and welcome touch
Both Sylvie and her daughter were charming and a pleasure to deal with.
I will definitely be using Sylvie's apartment in the future.
