Situated in the country, 1/4 mile from Kells village, 5 miles from Ballymena, 20 mins from Belfast International Airport and 30 mins from Belfast.
Old restored mill with waterwheel and other charming characteristics is accessed via a ford. The three level property is nestled in a wooded area with river view and an abundance of wildlife. There are four bedrooms, including one four-poster super-kingsized bed, another super-king bed which can be unzipped to make 2 singles (please let me know which configuration suits your requirements best at the time of booking) and 2 king sized beds. The house has a large living room with wood burning fireplace completed with two mounted stags heads. In the beautiful country kitchen you will find a table that comfortably seats 8 people and all the appliances you will need to cater for the everyone.
Please note that at times the river may be too high to drive over the ford. At these times we use an alternative entrance. ( Visible on confirmation of booking.)
Guests will have full access to the property, it's contents and the car parking area. Should you need any assistance family are located onsite in the neighbouring house.
This is a perfect base for new or revisiting guests to Northern Ireland. Located 1 minute from the A26, only 20 minutes from Belfast International Airport, 40 minutes from Belfast George Best Airport, or 30 minutes from both Sea Ports you'll have no trouble getting here. Equally, once here you will have no issues getting to Belfast City Centre, City of Derry or The Giants Causeway.

Please note that the house is heated by oil central heating. There are also 2 wood burning stoves, 1 of which will be set, ready to light from October to March. Should you require more fuel, it can be purchased from the supermarkets or fruit and veg store in the village.
Children are welcome but as we are beside the river, and there is a working waterwheel, supervision is necessary at all times.
