Su questo annuncio

The house is situated on a beautiful car-free courtyard. The loggia in the tower provides a wide view over the mountains, valley and the village. You can take the Medieval little street from the house to the village, it's a lovely 3 min walk.

L'alloggio

Located in the old centre of Les Arcs Sur Argens and only 15 minutes from the sea. This is not an average house, dating from 1200, situated on a very romantic courtyard. This house feels like a safe fort. There is no garden, but there is an amazing loggia with breathtaking views over the valley and the village. At the little car-free square down the house, you can relax, read a book, sit in the sun.
The cats that live there and beeing taken care of by neighbour Catherine, will be lying there in the sun, purring and sleeping.
In this house, books have been written, even more books have been read and there has been a lot of staring over the beautiful valley..

We were delighted with our stay. The house is charming and the location wonderful - peaceful square in the old town. Les Arcs is a nice place - plenty of cafes and restaurants. Thanks very much to Truusje for everything.

The location for this venue was excellent, very quiet and select. No problems with communication or the keys to the venue. Furnishings and appliances were a little too basic for us and we were unable to find instructions for tv etc. Truusje was kind enough to allow our son who was travelling independant of us to join us at her home without charge. Thank you Truusje. We loved the guy in the complex who practiced his opera most days. While we were there the village had a celebration weekend and a boules tournament, great to watch. Central area for many great places to visit.

We loved to be in this medieval house in the very historical part of Les Arcs, with lots of comfort, 2 minutes walk from the central place with a great bakery and where lots of parties are celebrated in August in the evenings on weekends (no need to go somewhere else)! It was great to have a DVD player for the kids! It is possible to offload the luggage close by and we always found parking places 2 minutes walk away also. So I can strongly recommend this house!

You really do step into back into the Medieval times when you enter this lovely part of town and Truusje’s apartment, which is very spacious and has everything you need: comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a TV we didn’t even use, very fast internet and the most stunning views! Whilst we didn’t meet Truusje in person, she replied super fast and friendly to all of our emails. We got the keys from her lovely neighbour, who along with another neighbour even helped us out when our car battery decided it was time to die. And that despite our obvious lack of French :). Parking was no problem at all. At any time of the day we would find a free spot just a minute walk away from the apartment; manageable even with big luggage. It’s the kind of place you want to return to every year.

Truusje's neighbour was key holder and was helpful. Les Arcs is just a wonderful place. The village provides a remarkable community atmosphere and spirit of hospitality. A real character of the village is Sophie, who runs Cafe de la Tour. What energy and personality! Miss it already! The proximity of the railway station is a real bonus, especially its function in the heart of the French railway network and only ten minutes walk. You don't really need a car for this location.

The perfect location from which to explore Provence! A small, pedestrian-friendly village with enough cafés and a lively market to keep it interesting. The medieval tower apartment was a fantastic home base for some relaxed travel days.

It was a wonderful stay in the old medieval village. The silence and authenticity were a step back in time. You often walk into streets in medieval villages like this, always wondering what it would be behind the doors. And suddenly you stay in one if this unique cultural heritages. A lovely little house with all the basic comfort. We surely enjoyed our stay. The village is a very good central point to visit the region. Don't forget to make a boat trip trough the Gorges du Verdon, Europe's second largest canyon. Truusje is a very nice host. I didn't met her at the spot because here neighbor hands over the keys but the mails I got form Truusje were very nice and carrying with the necessary information and tips to discover the environment.

I am a musician/composer/director. My work allows me to live both in Amsterdam and in Les Arcs sur Argens. The house in Les Arcs is a perfect place for meditation en inspiration for my work.
I can give you advise for special cultural trips/concerts in the neighbourhood.
Besides the sun and sea, the surrounding of Les Arcs offers you a great amount of "not so welknown to the tourists" events where I can tell you about.
