Artistic 1915 Craftsman Bungalow with solar electric power & rain catchment is located in the Heart of Eugene adjacent to the eclectic Whiteaker neighborhood and downtown area. Walking distance to everything wonderful! Easy hwy access.
Very cozy, bright, unique and artistic space.
One bedroom with high end Beauty Rest memory foam queen size bed, one bathroom that has ONLY a clawfoot tub and Euro-style HAND-HELD telephone-style shower head (see photos please).
Extra beds include: Small chair bed (1 small person) and platform couch in the living room that can sleep up to 2 people. There is also an over-sized fainting couch in the dressing room (connected to the main bedroom). I charge $25 per night for any person over 3 people (except children).
Large dining table and quaint breakfast nook. There is also a vintage stereo system with aux cable for other listening devices. Gas fire place, piano (Wurlitzer Spinnet that my late-father gave me when I was 8 years old) and a great front porch to catch the morning sun, people watch or have a music jam. TV has built-in DVD player a adapter to connect to your computer for streaming.
A few important details to note:
~There is another rental adjacent to the house with a shared wall. There is some noise that can carry through. I have quiet hours posted. You may see other guests in the driveway.
~The bed is about 3 feet off the ground so "crawling into bed" takes a literal meaning, but the mattress is Beauty Queen's best pillow top memory foam mattress. You will be in heaven if you like soft, yet firm beds.
~There is not a stand up shower in the bathroom. There is a clawfoot tub with a Euro-style telephone faucet, which means you either take bath or you sit in the tub and wash with a handheld shower head.
~I accept dogs in the house at my discretion. Please let me know about your pet so we can decide if this is a good fit.
I get lots of compliments on the coziness and aesthetic of my space. I hope you will enjoy it as well.
I will send you detailed instructions for entry and getting settled in the day before your arrival. Check-out is 11 AM and check-in is at 3PM or later.
~Fully stocked kitchen
~Shared Driveway - park on the bottom right side. (free street parking is also available)

I am an instructor at the community college for energy management, environmental and social sustainability. I am also an entrepreneur, sleep coach & ESL teacher in Italy. Outdoor guide and avid outdoors woman when in the mood! But, I love the city too! I have an adorable small dog that rules my world. I've lived in Eugene for over a decade and I have a diverse palate of interests and things I love to do for fun! Airbnb has been a such a blessing for me. It has allowed me the freedom to live part-time in other cities for the past 2 years and has given me the freedom to travel the world, live in Italy (where I currently live) and pay for my graduate school. It also allows me to "employ" a co-host to help me manage my home while I am away. Keegan McDonald is my co-host when I am not available. Keegan studies product design at the University of Oregon and is a Eugene native. Keegan is a lifesaver and I couldn't do it without him! When it comes to travel I have learned that people, community and meaningful connection trump most things.
