welcome ! benvindo!
consolacao hood is central and near everything, i love this!
we dont have and dont need a car,
there is everything around really from churchs, bars, theathers, markets, buses, metros, sightseeing, universyties, everything.
but since we are in the middle of the city consolacao is not a quiete area.
my old house is located next roosevelt square, a big plaza, very alive, skaters, music, dogs, bikers, everything, here is pretty fun!
the house inside is unique and cozy...for me is a oásis inside the concrete city that is são Paulo, is a oásis, with birds and trees!
getting around it very simple, we are in a landmark plaza, so no problem to find us at all...buses lines in rua da consolacao, rua augusta, avenida nove de julho.
taking metro is good too...we dont have many lines in são Paulo, but we are close to a big station, with couple lines, the yellow and the red.
walking in my favorite transportation..i know could be hard for many of you, but going to the old center and paulista is ok...i will explain all for you not going to the wrong place.
taking a cab late of night is good idea...and since we are center the cabs will be not expensive..
to come and going to the airport is pretty easy too.
take the bus direcly to praça da republica and walk to here, will be around 10 minutes..if you have a lot of luggage, come by bus and take a cab...will be around 35 reais by bus and the cab to here around 15 reais...
the cab from the airport to the city is around 120 reais and we are the best price, because the área is central. they charge you there, so no mistake.
in the way back you can help you arrange a cab ...if we are luck our taxi driver friend olivier, can drive you with a very good discount!
f we need we rent one, there are many rental cars around.
we are in são Paulo, brasil, third world country, the city is Always dangerou and is not...you just need to follow the tips that you have to do in all stranger places...i will give you all the tips and i think will be fine...
we are surrounded by all kind of people with is marvelous, keep you cel phone, câmeras and computers safe when you go out and call me if you need any help.
i personaly never had any problems walking around ...neither my guests, i alreay host more than 100 person here on airbnb, plus the people from other sources..so thats fine!
we are in a Young hype and artsy área, the house is full of art too...so if you are willing to fell this energy come! if you are concern and afraid maybe you need a more upscale place!
i love my old house and the vibe of roosevelt square and consolacao neighborhood!
relax and enjoy!
and dont forget that here is a house that have dogs, Birds, trees, it is old, we keep it old...books and art is our passion...and sustentability!
outside guests are not welcome, for security reason and privacy of everybody!
make sure to close the door and the gate when you leave.
dont feed my dog garo, he is need...and sweet and lovely but loves to ask for food and eat your (email hidden)rry but this is true!
close your room door when you are not in the room, so my dog garo doesnt come there.
again garo is a needy dog, don't give any food for him, some guests gave him and so now he asks, so don't give and he is going to be fine, he barks in your arrival but he is not dangerous, he is the security in the house.
if you are a smoker you can smoke in the pátio...everyone likes to smoke there...if is nice!
no problem at all...and can make a coffee to go together! the internet Works there.
the breakfast is included on the rate, you have coffee, milk, tea, bread and a very tradicional brasilian butter that i love - manteiga aviacao! - bananas and yogurt, you can prepare you in the time that you want and anytime you want, it is always on the kitchen ready for you!!
fresh mineral water is always in the kitchen, you can take botles to your room.
but if you use the kitchen please washes your dishes.
food is not included neither phone calls, but i like to feed you...if i am cooking!
