Set near the top of Telegraph Hill, our Montgomery Suite offers a calm abode with numerous tourist activities nearby. The spacious studio is located on a private well cared for patio. The studio provides absolute privacy with a very homey setting.
You access the property through a private entrance. As you enter the studio you will find a living area, complete with a couch and chair, desk and fireplace. The sleeping area is slightly separated from the living and this is where the bathroom is located. There is a totally separate and fully outfitted kitchen. The patio has a charming seating area and a bbq.
The location could not be more convenient. North Beach, with its many restaurants and shopping opportunities is five blocks from the property. San Francisco’s waterfront can be accessed with a ten minute walk down pedestrian stairs surrounded by gardens and parrots. San Francisco’s financial district is within a ten minute walk. In the midst of all of these activities, the neighborhood is very quiet. Perfect for a couple visiting San Francisco or an executive requiring a longer stay, our Montgomery Suite provides a full unit at an economical price.

Me and my friend had such a great time! The apartment was perfect.
Jesse has been extremely helpful in helping me find furnished rentals for our out-of-town employees coming into San Francisco for extended stays. Incredibly flexible, helpful, supportive and professional, I would recommend Casa Buena Vista rentals for anyone coming into San Francisco.
It's a nice location - between Italian district, financial districtt and fishermans wharf, nearby the coit tower
The unit looks just like the phones, and was very comfortable. We felt right at home there. It was warm and cozy and felt safe. We would have stayed longer if the unit had been available.
The rental management company that runs this unit did a very good job. When something went wrong with the toilet, someone was there same day to fix it. They responded very promptly and courteously to all my concerns.
Picking up the keys and dropping them off was quite inconvenient because we had to go to another part of the city about 20 minutes drive away; if we didn't have a car, this would have been a very long and/or expensive diversion.
There was some disturbing noise from construction in the other half of the building, but this was quickly resolved either by chance or design after a call to the rental manager.
I believe a cat might have lived in this apartment because my allergies were really acting up when I was there, but not when I was out of the place.
Parking was hell. Just finding a place to stop for a few minutes to unload our bags was hard. Parking illegally for a four hours in the middle of the night led to $200 in fines for me, issued within the hour. The nearest parking garage is quite a long walk up and down steep hills, and costs $25/day, and you can not always get space there for various reasons, such as their being closed and their payment system not working.
There is a coin operated laundry shop nearby that we used to wash our clothes.
A most enjoyable place for our first visit to San Francisco. Located only a few yards from the 39 bus route, which avoids long climbs up Union or Montgomery Streets, although stops at around 19:30.
The bathroom was lit like a very intimate bar. Perhaps a maintenance issue, but in any event you don't really need light to shave by when you've been razoring your face for several decades.
As a point for improvement, it would be very helpful if a city map like the tear-off available at the Visitor Bureau was provided. Although discovery is part of the fun of visiting, a few pointers (such as about the 39 bus) and suggestions as to near-by eateries and grocery stores would also be good.
Would certainly recommend to any of our friends who may be visiting San Francisco.
We stayed 2 nights at the Montgomery Suite in San Francisco (October 2010). Very nice location, very quiet suite, key pickup and drop off well organized (please note: it is not at the same location as suite, a 20-30 min. drive away). Restaurants are in walking distance. Suite was clean and spacious. Internet access worked fine. No direct views from suite, very small garden. Nice views towards the bay and city center from next road junction, since the suite is located almost at the flank of a hill (close to Coit tower).
Key pickup and dropoff were confusing and inconvenient. Never received a confirmation email with specific instructions for key pickup. Montgomery Suite is located on a very steep hill, steeper than most in SF. But it had a good location. Close to North Beach, Embarcadero, and Chinatown. Apartment had musty smell but felt safe. Toilet didn't flush easily. Patio is not private, as advertised. Sectioned off, yes. But not private at all. NO WIRELESS!!!!!!! Listing said wireless, and our invoice even had wireless key code, which simply did not work. We called Jan regarding this and his response was "Oh I meant to change that". So internet was provided via ethernet, which was very slow.
Wonderful location, great place very cozy. Would stay here again!!!
Hosts were very helpful in making sure I had a place to stay. The Montgomery Heights unit was very conveniently located.
