Our camper is in Manhattan, Nevada, a true living ghost town. The area was originally inhabited during a silver strike in 1867, which didn’t last long. Then gold was found in 1905 and the town boomed off and on until the 1940’s. This is the gateway to central Nevada history and amazing wilderness. It is a short drive to historic Belmont, or to the many trails into the Table Mountain Wilderness. Come and enjoy a cold drink at the Manhattan Bar and relax under the stars.
