While nothing about the listing was factually inaccurate, prospective guests should know that the apartment is pretty bare bones: what’s in the pictures is what’s there, and nothing more. I couldn’t find anything to cover the faux leather couch sectional except an extra duvet. …
Risposta di Annie:
Hi Angie, I’m sorry had an unsatisfactory stay. I just wanted to clarify and address some of the concerns you had mentioned, especially regarding the issues that made you feel unsafe. Mounir and I manage the Airbnb together. Some guests have a lockbox but we prefer to be onsite to greet our guests. I had been away at the time of your stay so unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to meet you. We try to meet our guests together whenever we can but this is not always possible. If you look at some of the other reviews from previous guests, you will see that sometimes it’s me and sometimes it’s Mounir that greets the guests. Mounir’s full name is Abdallah Mounir B., which is the name on the business license, he simply prefers to go by his second name as it’s easier to pronounce. He had also driven you to the skytrain at the end of your stay — something we try to do as often as possible. I wish you had communicated these concerns to us during your stay or when Mounir drove you to the skytrain so we could have addressed them earlier. If we had known you were feeling unsafe, we could have offered you a refund or helped you to find other accommodation. Best, Annie
I’m originally from Hong Kong and moved to Vancouver 3 years ago. I can also speak Cantonese and Mandarin!
