We appreciate your feedback, I would like to mention a few things.
We clean after each client as soon as the client leaved, we do that to avoid the risk of ants and insect invasion. We pay for the cleaning service and they have always done a good job. You mentioned that the bathroom floor was dusty. That may have happened since This time I cleaned on Sunday and your check in time was Friday. In the summer we leave the windows open, so the cabin does not have a stuffy or stale air. Unfortunately, it may get some dust, but I assure you it was cleaned on Monday. I did it myself. Sometimes I do it instead of sending a cleaning service just to make sure there are plenty of supplies in the cabin, and to take an inventory. I know I run out of garbage bags and I when to the store and got a new box of bags. I went back on Tuesday and took the new box of garbage bags to the Cabin….. could I have been so absent minded that I had forgotten to actually change the bag when I got there, is hard to believe, but my sincere apologies if the garbage bag was not changed. Do to the fact that this is a vacation cabin and we don’t have a full-time staff and we only charge $120 for cleaning, we can not send a second service to dust the house and open the gates before the guest arrive. So, yes, if anyone expects to have reception service, hotels are more likely to provide that. I will ask Airbnb if they have any suggestion if we can offer that for an extra fee, but truly we can not send a second service to open the gate etc. We are working on a Welcome book, thank you for the suggestion.
